Chapter 15

~Time skip to a couple mornings! Where Kuki is thinking about life~

I woke up and saw that I was cuddling with Kiba. I sighed, that voice in my head said 'Do you love kiba?' I replied back 'I don't know....' the voice was quiet for a minute then it said 'Well..... how does he make you feel?' I mentally shrugged and said 'Kinda weird....' the voice said 'good weird or bad weird?' (Doctor who quote! XD) I said 'Well i feel like i can tell him anything....but he always manages to make me flustered......i think good weird....' the voice asked 'Do you know what love is?' I said 'Not really....what is it?' the voice chuckled and said 'When you truely love some one, you can hear a song that their heart sings, that no one else can hear or imitate.' I raised and eyebrow and asked 'so I have to listen to his heart to know if I love him?' the voice chuckled again but didn't reply back. I thought about what that voice said. 'A song no one else can hear.' huh? I sighed and started listening to kiba's heart beat. It was nice....it was in a rhythm, slow beating rhythm.....it was kinda nice listening to, I smiled and hugged kiba more. I heard him chuckled and say "Good morning to you too." I shot up and backed away from kiba. He chuckled and said "Embarrassed because I caught you?" I growled and just pushed him out of the bed, I heard a thud and smiled. Kiba growled and said "What was that for!?" I said with my eyes still closed "Can't hear you!! I'm sleeping!!" he growled and got on top of my and pinned my arms down. I said "Kiba let me go!!!" he smirked and said "Why?" I growled, and said "Because." he got really close to my face to the point where our noses were touching, I felt heat explode in my face, Kiba smirk grew and he said "Are you sure you want me to get off?" it was like a whisper, just as I was about answer he got tackled off of my by Kasai. I let out a breath and said "Good job kasai." She barked from kiba's face. I got up and went to the kitchen and started cooking. Kiba came into the kitchen and sat down at the island that was in the kitchen. I put his food in front of him and set mine down and fed Akamaru and Kasai, then sat down to eat my own food. After that I said "What is there to do?" he shrugged then I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened the door to see Shino, I said "Oh hey shino!" he nodded I let him in to the house he said "I wanted to look at some more bugs from your clans collection." I nodded and said "Help your self shino!" he nodded and walked to the back yard. Kiba walked over to me and asked "Hey what's Shino doing here?" I shrugged and said "Oh well he like to see the different type of rare bugs I have." kiba said oh and nodded. Then there was another knock at the door. I opened it to see Hana! I said "Hey Hana!! what's up?!" She smiled and said "I came to get kiba, his presents is needed else where.." I nodded and said "Kiba your sister is here!!!" he came to the door and pouted while saying "Awe do I have too?" she nodded and said "Mom want you to wash all the k-9's." kiba groaned and said "Alright....Ill see you later..." I nodded then closed the door. I walked out side to where Shino was observing bugs. I said "So find anything you think is cool?" he looked at me I said "You think all of them are cool, don't you?" he nodded I sighed. Then he said "Oh by the way naruto said he needed your help." I sighed and said "That idiot." I stayed quiet for a minute and said "Well I'll be off!!! You can stay here as long as you want!!!" he nodded and went back to the bugs while I walk back inside and said "Kasai!" I heard a bark and she came running towards me. I chuckled and put her on top of my head and walked to the Hokages office where I smelt naruto. He was out side the door yelling, I said "What's up?" he looked at me and said "Konahomaru lock himself inside the office and won't come out!" I sighed and walked up to the door and tried to open the door only to have a bunch pans fall, I quickly deflected all of them and kicked the door open. Just then our new Hokage Lady Tusnade came up. She looked at me and said "Thank you." I nodded and stepped to the side where she could walk in. She grabbed a book and walked out while people came in and started I walked in and grabbed Konahomaru and slung him over my should while he was crying and punching my back I said to the others "Let go get ramen, on me." they all nodded and while walking there Konahomaru gave up on getting away. After we got there we sat at the counter and ordered ramen we all ate while Konahomaru was poking at his. I nudged his arm he looked at me I said "Konahomaru I know your going through a hard time with you grand fathers death..." he growled and said "How would you know?!" I said "Well....my whole entire clan was slaughtered..." his eyes widen while I kept eating, I said "Wanna know who killed them all?" he slightly nodded I said "My own sister." he said "Whoa...." I continued eating my food, and said "So believe me. I know what it's like to lose someone you love. but you can let it stop your life completely, you have to keep going while your loved one looks over from above...." he looked at his soup I said "Konahomaru, in your life time, this isn't going to be the first time you have pain like this.... But you have to understand that the one that leave you are teaching you something very valuable." he looked at me I felt tears brim my eyes as I looked at him "They teach you how to let go....and move on...." I sighed and said "And if you come to an understanding of that then something in your life will shine and give you the strength to move forward, until your time comes." He turned towards me and said "Your right..." I shrugged and he said "I need to move forward for my grandfather!" I smiled as he started inhaling his food I chuckle and leaned over to naruto an said "I think Konahomaru is good for now." he looked at Konahomaru and said "Wow Kuki I never thought you could be such a caring person....." I said "I have my reasons...." I put money down for everts meal and walked out of the shop and started walking around. I was sulking while walking.... The sadness of my clans death still haunts me....and living in my compound alone with no one else but my pack....Some times I just want to scream out in pain.....If I lost Kasai I would defiantly lose it...she's all the memory of my mom I have left.... I sighed as I felt tears run down my face, I stuffed my hands into my pockets as I walked with my head down tears coming down.... I sniffled and said "These scars aren't going away...im sitting here hoping they'll heal but there not....there never going away...." Kasai whimpered while walking beside me. I said "I'm fine Kasai...." she whimpered again and said "I'll be right back." I kept walking forward as she ran off some where. Tears were still running down my face, then I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder, I was turned around to see kiba. He stared at me wide eyed and said "Kuki? what's wrong?!" I shook my head and said "Just leave me alone." I walked forward again, kiba walked up beside me and said "I'm not going to until you stop crying." I growled and kept walking, Kiba was still following me I walked into my house Shino was gone so already, it was almost dark so he should be home by now. I walked into my room not even caring to changes and laid in my bed and put my hands over my eye I got aggravated I yelled "WHY CANT I STOP CRYING!!!!???" And punch a whole in the wall that was near my bed. Kiba ran in with Akamaru and said "Kuki calm down-" I yelled "WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH?!? WHY DO YOU TREAT ME DIFFERENTLY THEN THE VILLAGERS?!?" He asked in a soft voice "What do you mean?" I said "EVERY ONE HATES ME!!! FOR MY WHOLE LIFE ALL IVE EVER BEEN IS HATED AND SHUNNED!!IVE TRIED TO PUSH YOU AWAY BUT YOU JUST KEEP COMING BACK!!! SO WHY?!?! WHY DO YOU STICK AROUND ME!!!!??" He sighed and came over and sat down on my bed and pulled my into his arms and laid my head down on his chest, I just now noticed her wasn't wearing his jacket. He said "Kuki, I stick around because I'm your friend and I know I was a real jerk before to you but I care about you...." I gripped his shirt and cried more and said "All I've ever known is pain and fear...." he starts combing my hair one hand while patting rubbing my back with they other.

-Kiba's pov-

"All I've ever known is pain and fear...." I instantly felt a sharp pain in my heart. I still haven't gotten through to her... Im trying to calm her down which seems to be working she's not crying that much anymore and is only hiccuping now. my shirt felt wet so she must of cried alot...i looked at the hole in the wall she made, dang! when the hyena'a said she had a lot of anger and pain they weren't kidding... I sighed and just said "Kuki it will be okay....." she said "How do you know that?" She tilted her head up and looked at me, I said "Because I'm here..." and kissed her forehead, She instantly went red and looked back down. Then Akamaru came in along with Kasai and jumped on the bed and they both started to lick her face earning a couple of giggles from her, I smiled as they were now tackling her trying to lick her face and she busted out laughing. She said "Okay, okay I'm fine now..." they nodded and started snuggling into the blankets. Kuki sighed and said "Kiba?" I looked at her she looked down and said "Thanks..." I smiled and said "Dont worry about it what I'm here for...." she smiled and laid down, I laid down too and put my arm over her waist, she turned to face me and hugged me instead she said "Thanks for calming me down and for not giving up on me...." I smiled and hugged her as well and said "I'll never give up on you kuki...."
