Chapter 23

The next day, Josh is heading towards school. He sees Crystal waiting at the bus stop, so he decides to walk over to her.
"Hey Crystal," Josh says. "Have you seen Logan or Katie?"
"Not since last night," Crystal answers before going silent again.
"So...." Josh starts. "What do you think they're doing now?"
Crystal gives Josh an odd look before responding. "Why do you care? I doubt they even noticed that we're gone,"
"Will we see them at school today?" Josh asks. "They are alone in the pizzeria all night, so I don't know if they made it or not,"
"So you left the pizzeria too," Crystal claims. "At least I'm not the only smart one in the group,"
"Wait, what?!" Josh yells out. "You think we're all stupid?"
"Well, every time we came, we just left instead of fighting the animatronics," Crystal begins. "It never made much sense to me, but I didn't want Katie, Daniel, or you to get hurt,"
       "But they're still at the pizzeria," Josh tells Crystal.
      "They probably left," Crystal tells Josh. "And if they're smart, they won't come back. I don't want to see them get hurt, but I'm sick of them always being so stupid sometimes,"
       "I get what you're saying Crystal," Josh starts. "But aren't you at least worried about Katie or Logan?"
      Crystal pauses for a while, she couldn't look at Josh in the eye, then she sighs.
      "Yes, I'm worried about them," Crystal admits. "I hope they're okay, but I don't want to go there anymore,"
      "I don't want to go there either," Josh says.
      "Then why do you even go?" Crystal asks Josh. "You can just leave anytime,"
       "I did it for Katie," Josh answers. "She seems so determined about coming there to stop who or what ever killed Maddison,"
        "She just doesn't know when to move on," Crystal says.
       Just then, the bus comes by and stops right in front of them. The door opens revealing the bus driver in a purple uniform.
       Crystal and Josh look at the bus driver in an odd way cause the old bus driver normally wears blue.
      The bus driver gives an impatient look as he waits for Josh and Crystal to get on the bus.
      "Well come on!" The bus driver yells. "The grass will grow with or without you! You don't need to watch it every second!"
       "Sorry sir," Josh quickly says as they get on the bus.
