Josh feels a large pain in his head. He can't move. Fear pours all over him. He can't tell where he is, but he feels a metal frame next to him. The pain in his stomach and back increases.
Josh slowly opens his eyes to see that he is in a hospital bed. His vision is blurry, but he can still tell.
He looks down to see that he's in a hospital gown. He removes part of it to see a large bandage wrapped around his stomach.
He tries to remember what happened, but he can only remember up to the part where the mini ballerinas attacked.
       "What happened?" Josh asks himself.
He tries to get out of the bed, but his back aches more so he stops. Josh looks around to see if any of his friends or even his parents are there.
A pair of dead flowers are placed next to him. Many of the petals seem to have fallen off. The sight of the flower makes Josh feel sad for some reason, but he doesn't know why.
Josh looks to his right and sees a machine giving him blood. He looks at his arm, and sees a needle inside him. It creeps him out a little bit.
"Hello, is anyone here!" Josh calls out.
He calls out a couple more times, but no one shows.
"Was all of this just a dream?" Josh asks himself.
He touches the bandage and winces as the wound presses deeper.
"It sounds very hard to believe that a bunch of animatronics attacked the pizzeria," Josh claims as he looks out the window. "Maybe I was just in a coma............... but it felt so real at the same time,"
He looks at the trees, and the leaves gracefully sway. The Autumn colors of the leaves makes Josh smile. The hollow trunk just stands there. The leaves continue to sway, and some of the leaves even fall. They drop down the tree and float to the dried grass. The leaf just sits there, wondering what to do, which makes Josh even more curious about what happened at the pizzeria.
He thinks about the man in purple, and what his plans are. He thinks about Katie and her death. A few tears shed from Josh's eyes before he wipes them off.
Just then, a nurse enters the room. Josh looks over to her. The nurse's mouth is wide open in shock, and she gasps.
"The doctors thought you wouldn't wake up," she claims. "A stab to the stomach and back did do severe damage to you, and even what the little girl has told us sounds frightening,"
"What happened?" Josh asks with a confused look.
"The ambulance brought you here," the nurse claims as she gives a nervous expression. "You've been in a coma for over a month,"
"What?!" Josh surprisingly yells. "I only woke up just now! It didn't feel so long,"
"The doctors were planning on pulling the plug soon," the nurse sadly says as she calls the doctor on the remote. "The doctor should be here any minute now. There's nothing to worry about,"
"What happened to my friends?" Josh asks.
"They're fine," the nurse happily claims as she leaves the room, leaving Josh alone. Her smile comforts Josh, but he felt uneasy inside.
"Does that mean they left the hospital?" Josh curiously asks as he gets off of the bed, but falls over. "Maybe they're in another room,"
Josh leaves the hospital room and searches around the hallway. Surprisingly, there is no one in the hall.
"Wasn't the nurse just here?" Josh asks himself as he continues down the hall.
Since no one was in the hall, the halls seem a lot more creepy. Almost as if it was abandoned. He could have almost sworn there were cobwebs in the corners of the halls. He looks there, only to realize that there wasn't anything there.
"Hello," Josh calls out. His voice echoes through the pathway, which makes Josh feel uneasy.
"Why isn't anyone here?" Josh asks himself as he slowly walks on.
It seems like he was walking through the maze of hospital halls forever, until he sees a dark, elevator. The lighting hit everywhere except the elevator, which makes Josh feel anxious, but scared. The elevator feels like it's towering over him, and is glaring right into his soul.
Josh walks up to the elevator and presses the button. The elevator slowly creeks open, and Josh enters the elevator with caution. The elevator takes him down and it starts to play a odd song that Josh finds rather disturbing.
      "Dear little child,
              Come play with us today,
              Here where secrets lurk,
              He where coffins spur,
We just want to have fun,
              Don't worry, it'll be fun,
              Deep down where secrets lurk,
You'll never know if it's a dream or not,"
The elevator suddenly jerks to a stop and slowly opens, only to reveal the nurse. Her nice smile turns into a creepy and dark smile. Blood stains cover her dress and a shadow somehow lurks over her eyes.
"You should've stayed," the nurse angrily says as she glares at Josh. "But it doesn't matter, the doctor says you're all ready to go. You're parents are waiting for you in the car,"
"How did they get here so fast?" Josh asks as he presses the close button on the elevator.
The elevator doors don't close, almost as if it had a mind of its own. The nurse's smile only grows brighter as she grabs Josh's arm.
"You're going home now," the nurse tells Josh as she drags him off to the hospital doors and to his parent's red van. "And you will never have to leave,"
She shoves Josh in the car, but something was off about it.  There was a divider between him and his parents, who were sitting in the front seat. A small shadow is revealed as the parents slightly turn their heads.
"Did you notice the blood on her dress?" Josh asks them.
One of the shadows slowly turn their heads towards Josh, which makes Josh feel even more uneasy.
The car starts and they drive off. Josh looks back to see the nurse's happy smile again, waving her hand as if nothing happened.
"It's okay little boy," Josh's dad says. The way he said it was in a maniac's tone and makes Josh shudder.
"You're not my parents," Josh angrily says. "What are you going to do to me?"
"Of course we're your parents sweetie," Josh's Mom creepily says. "You don't have to worry about anything. We're going home, and everything will be okay now..."
Josh shudders and tries to open the car door to get out. The car door is somehow locked, and is preventing Josh from escaping.
"Let me out!" Josh yells out. "Let me out!"
"It's just the injury boy," Josh's father creepily comforts him. "We'll be going home soon,"
"No!" Josh yells as he tries to break the window, only o have the seatbelt magically wrap around his arms. Every time he tries to move, the seat belt would grasp him tighter, which makes him howl in pain.
"Shh," Josh's Mom whisper. "This may seem like a nightmare to you, but all of this will be over soon. We are going to be home. Your monsters will disappear into your closet, and under your bed,"
"Besides," Josh's father says as the divider starts to fade.
His parents are animatronic like with clown make-up. Their skin color is brown and black with a dark shading and with grey hats. The make-up is all in dark colors, and their eyeballs, ears, and lips seem to be hanging out. Their noses are nearly off of their faces, just dangling there.
Their eyes seem to glow in a red tone, which makes Josh nearly scream. They glare at Josh for another 10 seconds, which makes him believe their trying to rip out his soul.
"Nightmares always go away," Josh's animatronics father happily says as he pets Josh's hair. "But who says that more nightmares won't show up?"
Josh feels a large bang on his head, and he starts to black out. He could hear his animatronic parent slushing maniacally, and the car driving faster.
"Someone, help me," Josh quietly cries out.
"We hear you child," Josh's mother creepily says as Josh's vision blues once again. "And we're going to be a happy family, and this nightmare will never end,"
"No one will save you," Josh's father says before Josh completely blacks out.
