CHAPTER 4: GAMES
As a kid a game is a piece of fun, an activity that can bring excitement. Win or loose it doesn’t matter, what matter is the joy, the laughter and the thrill of the game that’s being played.
Andhy and I loves to play outdoors with some of our friends, one was Aisha and the rest was Andhy’s cousins. We love to play different kinds of ball games like volleyball, football, baseball and badminton. But most of the time we played tubiganan, piko, agawan-base, habulan, luksong-tinik, taguan (hide and seek) and sipa. When the weather was bad outside we all stay in my place or at Andhy’s place and play Nintendo (family computer). Our favorite was Mario Bros., Pac Man and Galaxian. Another favorite game of ours was playing board games. Snakes and ladders, othello, dama, dominos, chess, scrabble and we played card games and tricks. But my most favorite game was the Bahay-bahayan. Because in this game Andhy and I played as husband and wife and Aisha was our daughter. It was fun and my most memorable experience in my childhood.
