Me and my mom make our way to the neighbors house.
They don't live next to us, they live across the street from us.
I see a basketball court in their backyard.
"You know, our new house has enough space for me to have a basketball court now! I should get one." I smile at my mom.
"Negative, you can just come and play with them on theirs, they won't mind." My mom rings the doorbell and a women opens the door.
She looks to be in her early fourties.
"Tina!" My mom says hugging the lady.
"It's been too long, Kamora!" The lady says hugging my mother back.
Once they pull away, the Tina lady turns her attention towards me.
"Awe, look at you all grown up! Last time I saw you, you were a little baby." Tina hugs me too.
I hug her back even though I have no memories of her.
Tina tells us to come inside and we do.
"Hey Joslyn, nice to see you again!" A man says rather loudly.
I just smile at him and I wave.
"This is my husband Lavar," Tina says to me.
"LaMelo, LiAngelo, and Lonzo, get down here!" Lavar calls from downstairs.
Soon after he says that, three tall boys rush down the stairs, pushing their way past each other.
"Oh hey, look, they're here!" One of them say.
"Hey, I'm Lonzo, but you can call me Zo." Lonzo puts out his hand and I shake it.
He looks at me with a smile then he lets go of my hand.
"LiAngelo, I'm LiAngelo." I shake his hand. "I don't care what you call me." He winks at me.
"You should call me daddy," LiAngelo whispers for only me to hear.
My eyes widen.
"I'm LaMelo, but you can call me Melo if you'd like."
"I'm Joslyn, your new neighbor!" I smile at him.
"Joslyn, huh?" LiAngelo says.
I nod.
"That's a sexy ass name." LiAngelo whispers for only me to hear.
I pretend not to hear him.
"You guys can go upstairs, we'll call you when the food is ready." My mom says.
I just nod my head.
Shoot, my mom was right about one thing, Tina's sons are bomb as hell.
