"Joslyn Jones, please report to the Principles office, Joslyn Jones." I hear through the intercom speaker.

Great, I'm getting called to the Principles office.

I roll my eyes walking towards the office.

"It's only her what, second day here and she already is in trouble." I hear someone say as I walk past.

If your gonna talk shit about someone, make sure you whisper.

I keep walking towards the office and I see LaMelo with his friends.

We make eyes contact and then he looks away.

I roll my eyes and I keep on walking.

See, if he was LiAngelo, he would've left his friends and walked with me to wherever I was going, but no, LaMelo Ball is a fucking-

"Where are you going?" I hear LaMelo ask me.

"I got called to the office." I reply.

"What did you do?" He asked.

"I don't know!" I roll my eyes.

I reach the principles office.

"Don't worry, the principle is cool! She's black!" LaMelo runs off laughing.

I laugh at him before walking inside of her office.

I see Zuri in there and I roll my eyes.

"Please, take a seat, Miss.Jones," the principle welcomes me.

I sit down.

"I'm Mrs.Brown, your principle." Mrs.Brown puts out her hand for me to shake.

I shake it. "Nice to meet you!"

"So, Zuri here tells me you embarrassed and harassed her in front of everyone in the cafeteria. Is that true?" She asked.

I nod my head yes. "But did she tell you what happened before I "embarrassed and harassed" her in front of everyone?" I asked looking at Zuri with a dirty look.

Mrs.Brown looks at Zuri. "No, she did not. Please tell me."

"I was sitting at the lunch table, alone. Zuri and her friends came up to me and I think she tried to intimidate me by bringing two of her friends with her, but anyway, she told me to basically back off of her man, but before that, she took my phone from my hands without my permission. I kindly asked her to return my phone and she denied my request. I had to get my phone back from her so I did, and she fell. That is the full complete story. There were plenty of students around. Call in witnesses if you have to." I smile at the principle.

She smiles back.

I think she's suprised by how articulate I am.

Not to put stereotypes on my people, but sometimes, we are rude and talk like we don't give a fuck at the wrong time.

I'm trying to make a good impression.

"I've heard everything I needed to hear." Mrs.Brown says, "Joslyn you can go back to class, I'll write you a pass." Mrs.Brown replies.

She writes a pass for me and I begin to walk back to class.

I can feel Zuri stare at me as I walk out.

Oh well, she's the one who tried to lie and she got caught up.
