Once we pull away from the kiss, LaMelo is blushing a lot.

I feel my cheeks start to heat up and I look away.

"I've got to go!" LaMelo says suddenly.

He gets up off of the curb and he offers me a hand up, which I accept.

"I'll uh- see you tomorrow!" LaMelo says backing up into the street.

"See you tomo- LaMelo watch out!" I yell.

I quickly pull LaMelo towards the side walk.

A car speeds there way down the road.

"Are you dumb?" I asked LaMelo.

LaMelo doesn't reply.

"You need to look both ways before you cross the street!" I smack LaMelo.

"Sorry momma!" LaMelo laughs.

"It's not funny you could've got hurt!"

"Mhm, but I didn't get hurt." LaMelo replies.

I realize how close the two of us are.

LaMelo is on top of me.

I swallow and I try to push him off of me.

"Oh sorry," he chuckles getting off of me.

We get up and dust ourselves off.

I grab LaMelo's hand and I look both ways before crossing the street.

I walk him home and I get ready to walk back across the street.

I turn to walk away hoping that LaMelo would stop me.

I take a few small steps and he finally does.

"Joslyn wait!" He calls out.

I turn towards him.

"Hm?"

"So are we- we're like official now right?"

"I don't know LaMelo, you never popped the question to me!" I mess with him.

"Will you be my girlfriend, for real this time?" LaMelo smiles at me.

I nod my head. "I'd love to Melo!"

"Cool,"

"Awesome!" I say.

"Wonderful," LaMelo replies.

"Amazing!"

"Spectacular!" LaMelo says clapping.

"Magnificent!" I say and I start clapping too.

"Remarkable!"

"Phenomenal!" I say.

"Unbelievable!"

"Stupendous!" I giggle still clapping.

LaMelo laughs. "Okay, okay, I'm don't know anymore synonyms for cool!"

I think for a second. "Astounding,breathtaking,impressive, incredible, shall I go on?"

"No, stop you're making me feel dumb!" LaMelo laughs. "I get it your good with words, no need to show off!"
