I have always hated moving.

Hopefully this will be the last time I have to move for a while.

See, my mom and dad are getting a divorce.

I am being forced to move with my mother to this place called Chino Hills.

Where the hell is Chino even at?

Anyway, my dad will stay here, in Los Angeles.

My mom told me that she bought a house next to an old friend she had in high school.

I grab the last box from my old room and I put it in the car.

I make sure I have everything and I get inside of the car.

My dad waves goodbye from the doorway and I look away from him.

He is the reason I have to move.

My dad cheated on my mother, forcing them to get a divorce.

My mom can't stand seeing my father anymore, forcing us to move.

My father just had to cheat on my mom, forcing me to change schools.

I have to leave all of my friends, and to make the matters worse, it's my Junior year of high school.

I'm being forced to go to a new school where everyone already has friends, everyone knows who to trust and who to stay away from, everyone knows people there... I'm going to be the new girl from Los Angeles.

I sit in my car with my arms crossed.

"Can we go now?" I asked my mom.

My mom looks at me and she starts the car.

"Did you say bye to your dad, Joslyn?" My mother asked.

I nod my head yes, that's a lie, I didn't.

We make the hour journey away from my old home, the drive to my new beginning.
