Christine removed the mans hood and reveal a man. She then realized due to the look in his eyes that he was the Phantom haunting and tormenting the opera house.
"Christine.."
He spoke in almost a whisper.
Christine tried to back away but then she saw his eyes grow with anger and rage. He looked up to box five where Erik and the managers were sitting then grabbed Christine and opened one of his trap doors into the depths of the opera house.
"Down once more to the dungeons
Of my black despair!
Down we plunge to the prison

He pulled Christine down into the dark underbelly of the opera house. He then threw her in a room.
"Change into that dress. You will now be living here forever and you will be for Biden to leave."
Christine still frightened did as she was told hoping to please him and not make him more violent than he already was.
"Madam Giry! Where is she?"
Erik screamed running from the box down to the stage.
"Monsieur Destler I know we're that are but remember keep your hands at the level of your eyes or he will catch you with his lasso."
Madam Giry pulled Erik down the tunnels of the opera house to the part where she dare not go.
"This is as far as I dare go, he lives across the lake please be careful Monsieur."

Erik ran down the many stairs to the lake. He took off his coat and swam to the far edge of the lake.
"Have you gorged yourself at last

She needed to free Erik while the phantom was distracted.

She then freed Erik and clung to his shoulder. Erik and Christine snuck off out of the lair and back up to the surface.

"He's down there Monsieur get him before he runs away!"
Erik said to the police officers. Then he turned to Christine.
"I'm just happy he didn't hurt you. Nadir was a former player in the orchestra and I had to fire him because he had a very bad temper and attitude with the other members here. I'm so sorry you had to go through that Christine I swear I will make it up to you."
He said pulling her into a hug. She then started to cry.
"What's wrong?"
"He almost killed you I don't know what I would do without you if you died. I love you Erik so much and I never want to leave your side."
Erik then kissed her forehead then they both headed back to Erik's house. Erik took off his mask and set it on the table on his side of the bed then he waited for Christine. Christine took off her mask then climbed into bed next to Erik. Erik slowly put his palm on her disfigured face.

"You are too Erik."
Erik then leaned in and kissed her softly. Christine felt joy in her again then she felt love full her heart. They pulled away and Christine snuggled with Erik until they fell saying each other's arms.
