Brendon seemed a little upset. His eyebrows were furrowed and his lips were parted. He took the box he was carrying and brought it to his room.
"Nice to meet you, Joe!" He seemed different. Jealous, even...
"I'm Brendon. Brendon Urie." They both tensed up. It was weird.
"Well, can I get you two any food? Or anything like that?" I questioned. Brendon and Joe glared each other.
"I thought we were gonna get the stuff from my car." He turned to look at me. I smiled and nodded.
"I did promise that you and I would help Brendon bring his stuff up." I grabbed Joe's arm and playfully pulled him down to the elevator as Brendon just watched us. I felt bad for him.
"So, you excited?" I intrigued. He nodded, smiling like a puppy. Awh, how cute!
"I'm so happy you were able to let me live in your home with you!" That reminded me of the key. I pulled it out of my back pocket and handed it to Brendon.
"This is for you since you're a new official member of the apartment!" Joe glared at Brendon who was looking at his key as if it were a million dollars.
"Thank you so much!" He nearly jumped. I laughed and he shoved the key in his pocket. The doors to the elevator opened and we all walked out. The tension was weird. Brendon skipped to the door and Joe wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer. I smiled, walking outside as Brendon opened the trunk to his car. Joe and I walked out of the building and to the back of Brendon's car. He pulled out a box and asked us to do the same. I smiled at Brendon and nodded, picking up the box and going to the elevator.
"We're all gonna need to help bring the mattress upstairs, and then that's it!" Brendon cheered. His enthusiasm always made me giggle. Joe looked at Brendon and then down at the box he was holding. My box was full of his clothes. I took this time to look at his style. There were many suits, overcoats and leather pants. Then there were a few sweaters, t-shirts and jeans, along with socks, and shoes. He had dress shoes and runners.
"Woah! You have a lot of fancy clothes." I commented, never peeling my eyes off of his clothes box.
"Yeah, I just like dressing up nicely. You never know when you're gonna meet the right one, I'd like to be dressed fancy when I do. Speaking of which, Joe, what were you wearing when you met Faelecia?" Brendon raised his eyebrow. Joe snarled and thought.
"A pair of jeans with a band t-shirt." He sighed. Brendon nodded and looked over at me.
"I just love your outfit Faelecia!" He exclaimed. I smiled and started posing.
"Really? I got them at Warehouse One! Both pieces were thirty percent off!" I had jean shorts in with a nice, fancy, thin tank top.
"You're too sweet!" I turned to Joe, and his face was so red.
"Joe, are you okay?" I turned to him, watching as his colour started to reappear.
"Yep, just hot is all," He shrugged. Brendon leaned over and looked at him.
"Really, I find it really cold in this elevator." The doors opened.
"Same, maybe you're getting a fever." He nodded and we all walked out.
"Someone hold my box?" I asked. They both moved to grab it, causing me to jump back. Brendon picked it up and held both as I unlocked the door.
"Thanks Bren," he chuckled at the nickname and entered the apartment. Joe was right behind him, rolling his eyes. They were not getting along at all.
"No problem, doll!" He placed the boxes down and double kissed my cheeks, out of respect.
"Hey! What are you doing? That's my girlfriend!" Joe defended, stepping in front of me. My eyes widened, thinking he was going to punch Brendon or something.
"I'm sorry if I offended you, it's just a sign of respect." Brendon placed his hands in front of him and looked at me.
"Fine then, do it to me!" I stifled a laugh and watched Brendon's eyes. They widened for a second and his eyebrows furrowed.
"Okay... whatever you say!" Brendon grabbed onto Joe's shoulders and double kissed his cheeks. Joe growled and walked away.
"Let's go get his mattress." He groaned, storming out of the room.
"I'm so sorry for his behaviour, he usually never acts like this." I apologized, whispering to Brendon so Joe couldn't hear.
"No need to apologize, he's... he's something." Brendon said, causing me to giggle. We walked out of the room and I locked the door. Joe flared at the both of us and uncrossed his arms.
"Okay, game plan on bringing the mattress up? Will it fit in the elevator?" I asked, watching Brendon's reaction.
"It should, with the help of team work, for sure!" He put his hand up for a high five and laughed as my hand hit his. I grabbed Joe's arm and smiled.
"C'mon, be more enthusiastic!" I ordered cheerfully, pulling his arm up and waving it around.
"Woohoo..." he replied sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"Alright! Time to bring this mattress upstairs." Brendon chuckled at my cheerfulness, but Joe sighed. What was his damn problem?!
"Alright, I'll grab the end, Brendon can take middle and Joe can take the end." We all nodded and picked up the mattress, walking into the building with a queen sized mattress on our shoulders. We walked into the elevator and stayed sideways, pressing the sixth floor button d waiting impatiently.
"I'm gonna head out after this," Joe said. I knit my eyebrows and groaned.
"Really? You like, just got here!" I whined. He chuckled and shook his head no.
"Sorry, I have errands to run. But hey! you can spend time with your new roommate, uh..." I looked behind me and saw Brendon roll his eyes.
"Brendon..." he finished for him.
"Yes! Brandon! Thank you!" Joe threw his head back and smirked.
"B-R-E-N-D-O-N. There's no A in there." He corrected, tightening his grip on the mattress. I looked between the both of them, glaring Joe hard and watching the doors open.
"Brendon and I turn first, and then Joe will follow us out." Through grit teeth, I managed to get out. Joe was being a complete asshole!
"Sounds good!" Brendon exclaimed. Damnit! His enthusiasm will never not cheer me up. Getting to the front door, I pulled my key out and unlocked it. Marching in one by one, we got to Brendon's bedroom and threw the mattress onto his bed.
"There we go! You're all unpacked!" Brendon laughed and nodded, smiling like crazy.
"Thank you so much!" He came over to me, with his hand out. I leaned in and whispered.
"We'll hug when Joe's gone." He nodded and grinned.
"Bye babe!" I walked over to him and pecked his lips. He hugged me and chuckled, rubbing my back.
"See you tomorrow!" He nodded and waved to me, closing the door behind him. I locked it and ran to Brendon, wrapping my arms around him.
"You live here now!" He chuckled and nodded, wrapping his arms around the small of my back.
"Yep! I'm so excited!" I latched off and smiled.
"Now let's crack open a bottle of champagne and just talk!"
