Popping off the cork of the champagne bottle, Brendon laughed and poured us both a glass. We clinked glasses and walked over to the couch.

"So, tell me about yourself." Brendon said softly, taking sip of his drink.

"Well, I'm twenty-six, I'm obviously not single. I've been dating Joe for around three months now. I work at a café as a barista. How about you?" He pursed his lips and nodded, raising his eyebrows and relaxing his shoulders.

"Well, I'm twenty-seven, I'm single." You'd think a man this charming and handsome would be dating, but no, Brendon was single. That was weird. "I work as a stripper."

My eyes popped out of my head and I choked on my champagne.

"Nah, I'm kidding, I'm a party planner. Are you okay?" He scooter closer to me and rubbed my back. I nodded and coughed once, smiling small.

"That caught me off guard, but parties? That's pretty cool!" I exclaimed. He replied with a toothy smile and a nod.

"Yep! I love it! Which coffee place do you work at?"

"The french press." Taking a sip of his champagne, he nodded and grunted.

"Luckily my work is near there, maybe I'll make that my new coffee place!" Throwing my head back in laughter, I giggled and put my champagne down.

"Yeah, come in often so my boss gives me a raise!" I joked. He chuckled and placed his champagne down as well.

"So, tell me about Joe." He crossed his leg and bit his bottom lip.

"Well, he's twenty-six as well, we met while I was working my shift. He's very overprotective of me, jealous and charming. And I'm still so sorry about his behaviour. I didn't really tell him that my new roommate was a man." He shook his head, tilting his head and swirling his champagne around.

"You need to stop apologizing for things you can't control. Doll, it isn't your fault." My grin widened and I sipped the champagne.

"You're such an understanding man. I can't wait to live with you." I came closer to him and stroked his arm, looking into his deep, chocolate brown eyes. He smiled faintly and placed his hands on my waist. Nuzzling my head in his chest, I sighed and closed my eyes.

"What day is it?" My heart was pounding out of my chest, my legs were brought up to my chest and his hands ran up and down my back.

"It's Friday, why?" A burp quietly escaped my mouth and I enjoyed his warm embrace.

"Brendon... I'm a little drunk..." I slurred, clutching my hand on his chest. He chuckled and pulled me off of him.

"Want me to bring you to bed?" I shook my head no vigorously and put my head back on his chest.

"No! I want to sleep here!" I whined. He sighed and continued to rub my back.

"Okay, I won't argue with you..." I got up again and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Goodnight Brendon..." his arms wrapped around my waist and his face was shoved into my hair.

The sound of door knocking wasn't the easiest to wake up to in the morning. Behind me, I heard a low groan. My eyebrows knit when I forgot who was behind me. I sighed and turned around, seeing Brendon snooze. I giggled and pushed myself off of him.

"Faelecia! It's Joe!" He said, banging on the door. I got up and opened the door. Joe groaned and entered immediately.

"What's wrong with you? How long have you been there?" I wiped my eyes and walked to my room. Brendon was still snoring quietly on the couch. His shirt was pulled out of his pants and his arm was slung over the end of the couch. A small smile tugged at the end of my lips.

"Why's he on the couch? Can't sleep in his own bed?" He mocked. I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"Can you just stop for one moment? Jesus Christ! You're being a complete asshole to him when he's been nothing but kind." Walking into the bathroom, my hand was drawn to the hairbrush. I got through all the knots and rolled my eyes, seeing his person behind me in the mirror.

"Why's he on the couch? Didn't we haul his huge ass mattress yesterday for him to sleep on?" I turned around, nearly pulling my hair out.

"I got drunk last night and fell asleep on Brendon. He stayed there with me until we both fell asleep and he's not awake right now! Jesus!" I stormed out of the bathroom and stopped once my enraged self ran into Brendon, causing me to fall on the floor. He gasped and bent down, checking to see if I was okay.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going..." I groaned, rubbing my head. Brendon grabbed the small of my back with his hand and helped me up.

"No, no! Don't worry! I should have not just stood there. I just woke up because of the shouting. Who else is here?" Joe walked out at the perfect time and rolled his eyes when he saw Brendon.

"Oh never mind, good morning!" This caused Joe to roll his eyes and brush past me.

"I'm just gonna leave because if I stay longer, we're going to fight." He slammed the door shut, causing the room to slowly shake. Sighing loudly I stormed off into my room and laid in bed, shoving my head into my pillows. The bed dipped and I turned around to see Brendon with a worried expression.

"Are you okay? You need comforting?" His hands found their way to my back. I rolled over and let out a shaky breath. Usually, in a mood like this, I'd snap at someone. But Brendon was no ordinary person. It's like it was impossible for me to get mad at him.

"Yes... a little..." my voice cracked and tears started to fall down my cheeks. Brendon moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. He rubbed my side and shushed me quietly. I closed my eyes and let him soothe me.

But then, in came from the front door was Joe, who walked into my room to see Brendon hugging me back to my normal self.

And let me tell you, Joe was not happy.
