"Are you saying that I got the apartment?" He freaked out. I smiled and nodded my head. He yelled with joy and picked me up, hugging me in the air. I laughed and pulled myself off of him.
"Congratulations! And a fair little warning, I might have my boyfriend over from time to time, but he'll stay in my room." I stated. Brendon's smile faded away. He shoved his hands in his jeans and leaned against the wall.
"Cool, I respect that! When should I go get my stuff? Most of its in my car, but like..." he sighed. I ran my hand down his arm and looked him in the eyes.
"I'll go tell the landlord that you're moving in, alright? You can move in now, whenever you feel like it!" I smiled. He did the same, but his was smaller, and he walked out. I followed behind him as we took the elevator together. The tension grew between us, causing me to rub my arm in uncomfortableness. We both walked off, and I waved to Brendon before he got in his car. He waved back, causing me to smile.
"Where's the landlord?" I asked myself. I went to the numbers and saw his name.
"Hello?" His croaky voice answered the phone.
"Hi... I just wanted to let you know that there is another person living in my apartment... I'm Faelecia from the sixth floor room twenty one." I stated.
"Who is your new roommate?" He had no expression in his voice.
"His name is Brendon Urie. I don't get why it's important. We're paying the rent together and yeah, just letting you know."
"Alright, well, have a nice day." He hung up. I went back to my room and unlocked the door.
"S**t!" I exclaimed. I know no one was here, but I just said it out loud. I took my phone out and called my boyfriend, Joe.
"Hey babe!" He chimed from the other end of the phone.
"Hey! I was wondering if you could do me an amazing favour!" I crossed my fingers he'd say yes.
"Of course! Just not anything too hard. What is it?" He questioned.
"I need you to make a copy of my apartment key, if you can do that!" I could almost feel his smile from the other line.
"I'll be there right away!" He hung up. I took my key out and turned on the TV, just waiting for Joe.
~~~
Knock knock!
I jumped from my seat and opened the door. It was Joe. I quickly kissed him and gave him my key.
"I only need one copy!" I cheered. He smiled leaned against the doorway.
"You're so pretty, and I never tell you enough." He tossed the key in the air and caught it with one hand.
"I'll be back with two of these. See you soon, babe." He kissed my cheek and closed the door. God is he ever cute!
Dring! Dring! Dring!
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey! It's Brendon! I was wondering if you could help me unload all of my stuff when I get back to the apartment. If you don't want to it's fine! I'm just curious!" I smiled. All he wanted was to make other people happy.
"No! I'll be fine to help! My boyfriend could probably help too." I informed. I heard him go quiet, as if he just stopped everything.
"That'd be great! I'll be there in around twenty minutes. I'll get a U-Haul for the big furniture, like my mattress and... and my mattress." He chuckled.
"Can't you just put the mattress in the back of your car?" I questioned.
"That too! Sorry I'm not thinking straight..." he apologized.
"No need to be sorry. I also got a copy of my key for you. My boyfriends out getting it." I, again, heard that silent pause.
"Sounds great! I'll be there soon! Bye!"
"Bye!" I put my phone away and turned the TV off. I walked to the fridge and grabbed some chocolate that was in the door. I munched on it slowly, waiting for either Joe or Brendon to knock on the door.
Around twelve minutes later, I heard a knock. I hopped to the door and opened it. Joe smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
"Here's your key!" He cheered.
"Thanks! It means a lot, Joe!" I hugged him.
"Who's it for?" He raised his eyebrows.
Oh no... he thinks it's for him...
I bit my lip nervously and sighed.
"It's for my new roommate..." I trailed off. I saw his face fall, but he stayed positive.
"You got a new roommate? That's awesome!" He picked me up, spinning me around in a hug. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck for grip.
"I know! I'm so happy! Everything gets split!" I beamed. He smiled at me and put me down, still keeping his hands on my waist.
"So, who is she?" He raised his eyebrow. I giggled anxiously, rubbing my arm.
"His name is Brendon..." I looked down. Joe looked at me for a second, thinking it was a joke.
"There's gonna be a guy living in your apartment with you?" He questioned. I nodded. He tensed up and placed his hands on my shoulder. I closed my eyes and expected to be yelled at. But no, Joe kissed me, causing me nearly fall back. I kissed back and felt him pull us closer together.
"Hey Faelecia, I have my stuff downstai-" he cut himself off when he saw the both of us kissing. Joe broke it and smiled when he saw Brendon.
Not the reaction I was expecting...
"Hey! I'm Joe, Faelecia's boyfriend!"
