Second chance

Chapter 1

I never thought it was going to happen, but it did. I am moving to find me and my brother's mates.

It is so stupid that my parents are moving the whole pack for six months to another's territory just for some stupid mates! "But dad I want to stay here and I don't want to have a stupid mate." I always wanted a mate, of course, it's just that I know that I will get rejected "Sweetheart, I know that you don't want to move it's just that almost half of the pack that is 16 doesn't have their mates so we have to."

"Did you think about asking me if we wanted to move, hm? NO you didn't so I guess that in my mind I'm not invited, I will gladly just stay here until you come back so bye." Of course, the only thing my parents can do to make me happy is let me stay here but nooo I 'have' to come because they want me to find my mate "Honey please it's not even a full year ok, just please?" My mom is always a lot more kind then my dad " and if you don't then you will be grounded" spoke too soon. "Why do I have to go on this trip, only Eric has to go because he's going to be the future Alpha." If you don't know how the system works it goes like this:

•Alpha: leader of the pack
•Luna: the mate of the alpha
•Beta: assistant of alpha (usually alphas friend or other siblings)
•Third In Comand: one of the stronger fighters

"Come on sis, let's just go and if your mate hurts you then I'll hurt him even worse." This is what is best about being the younger sister, my brother is super protective and if anyone hurts me he will make them pay. "Thanks, I think I'll keep that offer in mind."

"Honey, look what nights of playing poker with some of the pack has done to her brain, she's making bets." We all started laughing when she said this because she doesn't know how old I was when I started playing poker.

"Mom lets just say that I and Eric started playing poker a few years before you think." We both let out a snicker.

"Honey how old were you when you started playing poker?" She looked a little nervous, with a hint of curiosity.

"Let's just say Eric was thirteen when we both started playing" I had to run before she realized that I was ten when I started playing poker. After about a few seconds I heard the most hilarious thing in the world.

"GEORGE YOU LET HER PLAY POKER WHEN SHE WAS TEN?!" Me and most of the teens fell on our butts laughing our heads off! Then I saw Eric run he screamed something that got me running as fast as I could with the rest of the kids around me.

"MOM IS SO PISSED! EVERYONE RUN IF YOU STILL WANT YOUR HEADS."

At this point me and the rest of us knew that my mom didn't like us playing poker, so when she learned that we ALL started to play at a young age...well let's just say we didn't really want to stop to see what punishment she had planned. This supposed doom was that we couldn't play poker the whole trip! If this happened then I would die, poker was the only thing I would like for the whole trip.

All of those events lead to now when we all ran to our rooms, got our luggage and waited to go (as you can tell my mom, our luna, is nice most of the time but when you get her mad you better do what she says or else your in big trouble). Once she calmed down we all got into our cars and left.
