Chapter 18

Alina's p.o.v.

I walked away from the door and left Jackson with his sister. I knew that I did the right thing. If I didn't then the bond he felt between us would've intensified and made him go crazy. Hopefully he'll meet his second chance mate and be happier with her. I know that I'm very happy with Caleb.

As soon as I step into the car I'm bombarded with questions.

"How did he handle it?"

"Who was the girl at the door?"

"Do you still love him?"

"Do you fe-"

Wait, did someone just ask if I still loved him? We all turn to a girl next to the car. Jackie. They looked at her with a confusion. "You guys, this is Jackie, she was the girl at the door and is Jackson's sister."

There was an awkward silence. "Do you still love him?" She asked again. I looked at her and sighed.

"No, I love Caleb."

She looked sad, but it was quickly replaced with anger. "Why don't you love him? Is it because this nimrod put you under a spell?"

We all looked at her like she had two heads. "No he didn't put a spell on me. I'm a warrior wolf and my second chance mate is who I was actually destined to be with."

She sighed and looked me straight in the eye "You'll regret saying that." She pulled out a silver knife; one of the weaknesses for werewolves was silver. She stabbed me and ran off after saying something, I couldn't hear what she said because the world around was becoming blurry and all I heard was static. Then I blacked out.

Caleb's p.o.v.

Jackie pulled out a silver knife and stabbed Alina. "If Jackson can't have you, then nobody can." With that she ran off. Itold Lucas and Jason to go catch Jackie and throw her in the cells at my pack house and sent Cat to tell Jackson what his sister did.

I drove Alina to the hospital where they separated me from her and brought her to another room. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened until in walked Cat with a sad smile. "What did he say?" She sighed.

"He said that he told Jackie to let it go, but Jackie ran off to our car before he could finish talking to her."

"Damn it." I let out a low growl.

Cat looked at me confused "What's wrong?"

"It's just that I thought that he told her to do it. Now I don't have a reason to hit him."

She snickered. "You always loved violence."

I looked at her "Why loved, not love?"

"Because Alina doesn't like violence, so you slowly stopped resorting to it right away." I looked at my feet, damn I whipped. I smiled at her.

"Any update from the others?"

Her grin started to grow bigger. "Actually yes, they caught her, and Alpha Jackson said that it's ok to punish her as long as he agrees with it. And he said that he'll be fair." I smiled, I'm happy how he agreed to not violently harm his sister. A siblings bond is unbreakable no matter what.

We talked for another minute or two until a doctor walked out. "Aline is fine, the silver knife didn't hit any important organs or arteries." We both let out a breath. Thank the Moon Goddess that she's ok. He also said that she could go home in a couple days.
