Jackson's P.O.V.
"I Alina Willson reject you Alpha Jackson as my mate."
As soon as she uttered those words she booked it. She wanted to reject me, but she said it incorrectly. She didn't say my last name so she really didn't reject me! "Excuse me Alpha George does your daughter know how to properly reject someone?"
"Yes she does and that's what confuses me. She never said your last name so that means that she really didn't reject you." Her father's eyebrows scrunched in confusion.
After that I talked to them I started running and running until I smelled something heavenly: strawberries and honey. 'Mate, go to mate!' My wolf yelled as we got closer and closer to her scent.
But there was another scent: rogue. It was mixed with her scent, which most likely meant that he was near her. My wolf was getting mad at the thought of a rogue hurting Alina.
I ran as fast as I could when the scents got stronger, and when I turned around a tree I spotted Alina. I finally found her, but the rogue was hugging her, then he kissed her forehead. That was it that rogue is going to die!
I ran and started to choke him, but the surprising part was when Alina started crying and said the weirdest things in the world "Please stop, don't hurt him! He's my friend!" I was shocked and my grip loosened, letting the rogue slide out from my grasp. He tried to get near her but I let out a warning growls that said otherwise. Then she did something that I never thought she would do, she ran over to him and gave him a hug. She actually would rather hug a rouge than her mate!
"Why are you hugging him, I'm your mate?" My face was covered with utter disbelief and my jaw clenched with jealousy.
She wiped the tears off her face "Because he's my best friend."
"You're friends with a rogue?" I let out a hearty laugh, but she gave me a stern look and said something that I didn't think she would say.
"Yes, he's one of the few people I trust."
