Chapter 19

Alina's P.O.V.

I woke up in a field. It was lush and had so many types of flowers. I got up and started walking around when I saw a river. Next to the river was a beautiful woman, she had a white flowing gown and pure golden hair. So blonde that it was practically white and glowing in the sunlight.

She stared at me for a minute. "Come child and sit here." She patted a spot next to her, I walked over and sat down.

"Where am I?" I questioned nervously.

"You're in the area between life and death; Limbo. You have a chance to choose if you want go to heaven or go back to Earth."

Suddenly we weren't next to the river, we were in a room with two pictures with labels. One said Heaven, it looked beautiful. Then there was Earth, it looked the same as Heaven. But the only thing different was that Earth had my mate. All I wanted to do was go back to Caleb and be with him. Never leaving his side.

The lady was smiling at me "Have you chosen Alina?"

I nodded. "I want to go back to earth so I can be with Caleb." She nodded and gave me a big smile. "I am glad to see that you have chosen wisely." She snapped her fingers and I saw a bright light.

I closed my eyes only opened them moments later. I wasn't in Limbo anymore though, I was in a hospital and Caleb was next to me crying. I squeezed his hand. He looked up and joy spread across his face as he quickly covered my face with kisses making me giggle. He ran over to the assist button and started to spam it. A bunch of nurses and doctors ran in, when they saw me they smiled.

They turned to Caleb "We'll need to run a few tests before she can leave." He nodded and gave me a gentle kiss on the forehead, as if he was scared that I was so fragile he'd break me, then walking out the door.

Caleb's P.O.V.

It has been a week since the incident and Alina still hasn't woken up, I started to cry. What if I didn't get her back? All of a sudden I feel a squeeze on my hand. I saw Alina awake she and instantly started attacking her face with kisses making her laugh. I ran over to the assist button and started to hit it as much as I could. Doctors and nurses quickly ran in. When they saw Alina awake they smiled, Dr. Joseph walked over to me "We'll need to run some tests before she can leave." I nodded and gave Alina a peck on the forehead before I walked out the door. Grateful that I finally had her back.

As soon as I got out of the room I was tackled to the ground; everyone was there. Cat, Jason, Lucas, Eric, and many others. "Everyone off me and I'll tell you what happened." They all scrambled off me and sat down on the floor. A giant smile covered my face." She finally oke up!" All of their faces had the same joyous expression I had mere minutes ago when Alina squeezed my hand.

"When can I see my sister?" Eric asked hastily.

"They said that they're going to run some tests, then we can bring her home."

A doctor walked out "Her results are very good so she's able to go home. You can visit her now." Eric pushed past everyone, he was the only other person here who stayed over night almost every night.

Everyone's talked to Alina except for me. I walk in to see her sitting on her bed. She smiled when she saw me. I walked over to her and sat down next to her and she avoided my gaze for a second.
"Calebcanyoumarkme?" I stared at her.

"Babe, can you say that a little slower?" She gave me a sheepish smile.

"Caleb can you mark me? Please."I looked at her and I saw hope and love in her eyes "I'd love to as longneck as you're sure you really want this." She nodded her head wildly and I chuckled. Even after just waking up from a coma she still had a positive energy, influencing all around her and putting them into a better mood.

I started to kiss her. Soon I trailed kisses down her neck to where I was going to mark her. I started to suck on the spot, then I sank my teeth in. I licked the mark and smiled at her "When your ready we can finish this." I didn't want to force her to finish the mating process if she wasn't ready and she was thankful.

After a few minutes the doctors told us that she was good to go so I picked her up bridal style and brought her to the car to leave. When we got home I was squished into a hug with Alina by everyone who missed her. She smiled and said hi to everyone, but the cutest thing was when a little boy walked up to her and gave her a daisy.

She gave him a small smile and picked him up, putting the little boy on her hip. "Thank you Jake, your mate will be lucky to have such a gentleman as mate." I smiled at the thought of how she was great with kids; hopefully like she will in the future with our kids. I want to start a family with her soon.

After everyone talked to Alina we went to our room and I went to shower. When I came out to grab clothes all I had was a towel around my waist. I saw as she looked up and down my body as her eyes darkened with lust.

Let's just say that the rest of the night was quite eventful.
