Ok so... this is a HUGE problem and I'm sure so many of us get p*ssed about it.
I was talking to my friend about Harry Potter and I said I love Slytherin house and that I feel like I belong there rather than in Gryffindor. And she said "What? who wouldn't want to be in Gryffindor! Harry's there!" And I started flipping out! Because that is like one of the biggest "stereotypes" of the houses! You. Just. Don't. Do. That!
You don't like a house because someone else is in it!
What happened after; I got annoyed, extremely annoyed, and I was stuck between loving being a Gryffindor / thinking it's so common to be a Gryffindor / not being sure if I really am a Gryffindor. So just to be sure I made a new Pottermore account and answered all questions honestly and according to myself. And it turned out that I am a Slytherin. Which is totally fine because I love Slytherin and wanted to be one!
I decided I'm a Slytherdor.
This (and my friend) also inspired me to write a Harry Potter fan fic, so watch out for it, it will be out soon if you want to read it.Am I the only one with friends that put themselves in a house because of a character? Any of you had any experiences like this? Comment!
