Harry's POV
It was a normal day in the Weasley household. Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen frying some bacon while flipping pancakes. She was quite good at multitasking especially since I had moved in with them for the summer. After that, I was going to join Hermione and Ron in a split apartment. We were going to take odd jobs till we were able to apply for the ministry.
Mr. Weasley was coming downstairs carrying a computer mumbling, "The things muggles can come up with. Fred and George were still out in Diagon Alley running their shop. Percy, Bill, and Charlie were all at work which left Ginny, Ron, and me to have the house, for the most part, to ourselves.
I pulled on jeans and a quidditch t-shirt. I rushed down the stairs, taking them two at a time, so I could beat Ron to eating all the bacon. I slid into my seat just as Mrs. Weasley handed me my plate and slipped a letter under it. I wonder what the letter was for.
Before I could ask what the letter was, Ron came running down the stairs. He too was in jeans and a quidditch t-shirt. He rushed over and sat next to me. We both scarfed down the bacon and pancakes. Then I opened the letter that had been set aside. It read,
Dear Harry James Potter,
We need to inform you that there is a meeting in the ministry today that you and your friends must attend. The information provided at this meeting is confidential and should not be shared until you reach your destination. Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, and Neville Longbottom are all already here at the ministry. We hope to see you, Ron Weasley and Ginny Weasley in a few hours time.
Till we meet soon,
The Ministry.
"It sounded important," Mrs. Weasley said over my shoulder. She had been reading along with me. "You had better travel through the floo network. It will be the fastest way to the ministry. Good luck." She said the end as we headed to her fireplace and stepped in and yelled, "THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC!"
We landed hard, face first, on the dark marble floors of the ministry. Ron, Ginny, and I groaned as we stood up. In front of me was Hermione, Neville, and Luna. They were smiling and finally Hermione pulled me into a hug.
------------------Time Skip--------------------------
We walked into the meeting with our heads held high. We were ready for almost anything they could say. What they did say shocked us all.
"You will be returning to hogwarts as first years at start of term." Minister Ado started. He was young for the job. Maybe, 20 or 21. His dark brown eyes took in all his surroundings and his blonde hair was slicked back perfectly. All our eyes widened as he said this.
"Do you think we're that dumb, sir?" Hermione questioned. She really didn't like being called dumb, but this was far more than being called dumb.
"No. NO. This is for you to see what your years at Hogwarts would have been like without having to fight, you know who." The minister covered up well, but there were still some flaws to his plan.
"It's Voldemort, he's dead say his name for God sake." I grumbled.
Hermione went straight into the logic aspect, "We're 18 and famous. No way could we pass as first years."
"That's why you will be sent back in time. Your bodies will look like eleven year olds, but your minds and the time will stay the same as they are now. You'll be announced on the first day as who you really are, but for now stay hidden. We'll put you in the inn at the back of Diagon Alley. No one will bother you there." The minister finished kind of out of breath.
