I shifted uncomfortably in the passenger seat. Blake was keeping his gaze on the road. I didn’t know what to say. I don't think now was the best or appropriate of times that I should open a chapter of my past I’ve been trying to erase and rewind for years.

“I don’t really want to talk about it..now.”

That should do it. I thought to myself.

He lightly released a breath. “As you wish I wont force it out of you.”

He took his hand off the steering wheel and reached out to the radio and turned up the volume just a little bit to bridge the gap of silence.

The ride into the city was quite once more. Slightly awkward to say the least. I know it was on his mind and now with me not even answering his curiosity is probably nagging at him more. I let it roll of my shoulders, if hes worth my time and the wait, then when I'm ready to talk about it then i will. I kept my gaze out the window. Blake was keeping a good speed as i was able to see all the different scenery’s flash by the window. It was remarkable.

All the tall cascading buildings and city lights, we kept driving through the entire city strip until we reached the outskirts of town. Looking up at the sky the sun was out of sight, but all the different shades of purple and orange blending together calmed me completely. Country road, plains, crops of corn and flowers, fields of cattail was all you could see once we left the city. I saw beautiful horses galloping by as we were making our way down the long dark country road. I cracked the window and rolled it down to inhale the fresh pine wood smell. Wanting more i rolled the rest of the window down, laying my arm out, I whisked my hand up and down letting my fingers dance in the wind as we were driving.

"Usually girls don't like the window down. Their afraid of there hair falling apart that took them 2 hours to do"  Blake spoke above the music.

"I'm not most girls i don't care if mine messes up a little bit, its bound to happen one way or another. No need to cry over it" I casually responded. I didn't face him but from the corner of my eye i could see him smiling. I hid behind my flowing locks of hair that was blowing in the wind to smile back.

My feet were tapping on the floor. I was anxious, excited, hungry, and in need of a drink all at the same time. The view outside was all black. It felt like we were in the middle of no where.

"Where are we exactly?"

"Getting scared? do you think I'm taking you back to my cabin in the woods ?"

"Well i mean who has a club all the way out here?"

"My clients and guests enjoy the solitude. Being away from the traffic, noise of the city. Just somewhere to escape."

"Is that what your'e about? having your solitude?"

"Dosen't everyone Jordyn? Wasen't there ever a time where you wish you could just escape? Knowing you'll be back but just a place you could disappear to. That's my main reason for having my club out here. Trust me i know my clientele and they love their privacy." He had a smile smirk in the corner of his mouth.

"I get it, its just we are like really out in the middle of nowhere"

"We'll be there soon were almost coming up to the entrance now"

I tried to squint out the window but all i could manage to see were trees. Tons and tons of trees. We were in the middle of the woods. Blake made a left turn and followed the road for about a mile. He made a right turn and behind some more trees were flashing lights of all different colors strobing. We pulled into a full parking lot. The lot was huge, this place was extravagantly big. Now i can see why its all the way back here. If you were just driving down the main road there is no way you would know this place was here.
