After dinner was over Blake took me back home. The ride back I must say was more relaxing, then the ride up. We shared some embarrassing child hood stories, made jokes and laughed the whole way from dinner to the car to now reaching closer back home.
You know as professional and business like he appears to be, Blake is actually not that bad to talk and hang out with.. I mean, if we had met under any other circumstance this may have all worked out a different way. Like I said before; if you were to see us walk down the street together, we definitely would not look any other way then a good looking professional and a good looking wrong side of the tracks girl. Just because of how different we appear on the outside.
But on the in, he was such a different person. He didn't judge or seem annoyed or bothered by really anything. I know it hasn't been long but I am surprised to say, I am starting to really like this guy. He has just about as much mystery as he does suspense. He was like a good book that you didn't want to put down, you just wanted to keep reading about him .
Honestly, the stories he was telling me when he was growing up as a young pup, terrorizing all the neighbors and his parents, everyone that came along and tried to play with his toys. His whole attitude and demeanor, he was deep down, a bad boy.
And after this being the strangest night of my life , and this whole past week and a half week I have had to endure, he really did help take my mind off it all and made it seem like it wasn't anything more than a bad dream.
We were about to pull onto my street and it was well past 1 am, but lights were on in the main living and sitting floors of the house. Blake pulled into the same spot we parked before. I was about to take off my seat belt when he laid his hand on mine.
"Do you want me to come in with you? I know it's late but I would feel a little less awkward then waiting out here and having you're parents worry about their daughter walking in so late and grabbing a bag and leave to a stranger waiting outside."
"Trust me either way they won't care where I'm going or who I am with. I think they would be surprised that I'm in a dress coming out of a nice car versus a loud street bike waking up all the neighborhood.. Oh shit! I just remembered that my car is still parked at Walt's. can we go get it tomorrow?"
"Of course we can. And a bike huh? You never mentioned you ride? But as wild as you are I wouldn't doubt it, what's the fastest you have ever gone?"
"Well I don't know how to ride I have only been on the back of my friends bike. I think we might have hit maybe 100? I didn't really trust him to go much faster, why do you ask that?"
"We are definitely going to have a good time. Well if it's okay with you I would like to come in ?"
I looked at him as he was leaning over the center console, gently twirling a strand of my brown hair in between his strong fingers. Hiss beautiful blue eyes were getting lost in mine. I leaned closer to him
"that's fine." I whispered to his face. I was so close I could practically almost taste the wine and strawberries left on his lips from earlier.
He was still lost in the moment with a cute look on his puppy dog face. I leaned back and opened the butterflied door. He eventually got out of his car and joined me up the driveway and into my house. Once in the main chandelier light was on dim.
"Just wait here Ill be right back" I whispered to him
As I was heading up the stairs tingles suddenly shot through out me as Blake's hands wrapped around my waist stopping me midway up the stairs.
"i mean if were both quiet we should be okay. Right?" He seductively whisper's to me.
"Aw are you still hung up from back there?"
