It was now 3:15 and Logan expected Roman to be home by now, perhaps doing the laundry or writing a new song. Boy was he mistaken.

Logan was texting an email to a parent about a student's grade as he was walking out of the school, and when he looked up to see Roman seated on the hood of the car, sipping on an iced coffee and staring at his own phone, Logan's face few dark. What an idiot!

"Roman! I told you to go home four hours ago!"

Prince looked up and tilted his head with innocence. "I did go home. But then I grew bored and went shopping instead."

"You went shopping?" Logan quirked an eyebrow.

"Sí, mi Princesa. Te compré un hermoso vestido nuevo. Le encantará," Roman beamed as Logan's face blushed pink. He hated when Roman spoke Spanish, he sounded way too hot and he knew it.

"Whatever, just get in the car," he muttered, climbing in himself.

"Lo?"

Logan looked over and froze when their lips suddenly connected. He didn't know what came over him, but his hand smacked Roman away.

"Fuck! Jesus, Logan, what was that for?!" Roman exclaimed, touching his cheek.

"You can't do that!" he hissed in response. "Why can't you just control yourself for twenty more minutes? What if someone saw us?!"

"There's no one here! I'm not blind! You're beginning to sound like Virgil!"

Logan scowled. "I am not. Here is just not the place. You know this!"

Roman huffed. "You're so freaking paranoid."

"Cautious!"

"Scared!"

"I'm sorry I don't want to lose my job!"

Prince rolled his eyes and crossed his arms like a child. "Whatever. Glad to know your job is more important than your boyfriend," he grumbled as he glared out the window.

"It is not," Logan insisted. "But it is separate."

"It doesn't have to be... any normal person would let their significant other bring them coffee or kiss them in the car."

"Any normal person would have a significant other of the opposite sex," he snapped. Roman stared him with hurt filled eyes, and Logan regretted his words. "Sorry," he muttered. "I didn't mean that."

Roman didn't respond, but instead just thought in the back of his mind with a sad voice, Yes, you did.

As soon as they arrived home, Roman got out of the car and retreated to their room, slamming the door shut, leaving Logan alone to bring in the new clothes he just wasted his day buying.
