*Okay, so I know the last few chapters haven't been that great but I hope this one makes up for it. Let me know what you think :)*

I wake up in the middle of the night to a scream.

I immediately jump out of bed and run across the hall into Noah's room. I throw the door open and see a lump under his covers, which I take to be my little brother.

"Hey, buddy? What's wrong?" I sit on his bed and put my hand on the lump.

He pokes his head out cautiously. "I had a bad dream," he explains.

"I'm sorry. Wanna talk about it?" I ask, and now Kendall has entered his room, too.

"No." he pouts.

"What's up with him?" Kendall says coming over.

"Bad dream. So be comforting," I glare at her threateningly.

Luckily, she sits down next to me and says, "It was just a dream. It's all in your head! Are you scared of your head?"

He giggles. "No."

"Then come out from under the covers and let's read a story in my room." I offer.

"Yey, story!" he cheers as I wipe the forgotten tears from his face.

Kendall and I both shush him. "You have to be quiet, Noah. We don't want Mommy and Daddy to wake up."

"Yea," Kendall backs me up. "They might yell at us for being awake so late."

And with that, the three of us tip toe back across the hallway into my room. I look at Kendall and smile. Sometimes, my little sister and I make a really good team.

At 10:56 the next morning I get a call from Maddie. "Today!" she yells.

"What?"

"Skylar's party! She left two days ago remember? Party's in five hours!"

"Oh my god you're right! I completely forgot! Um, I'll get decorations, you get the food!" I command.

"You sent out invitations right?"

"Yes, I have twenty seven people coming, and I'm hoping she still likes them all."

"Okay good. She's not supposed to be home until 4, so I'll get food, and meet you at her house in 2 hours to set everything up." she says.

"You know, she's really lucky to have us as friends. She didn't help me with your party at all."

"Yea, well that's Skylar for ya. She's kind of a bitch."

"Maddie! She's our best friend!" I try to defend her, even though Maddie and I both know it's true.

"A hoe too. I mean come on, a new guy every week? It's pathetic," she continues ranting.

"Yea, that's great now can we stop talking behind Skylar's back?" I plead.

"Well it's not like she doesn't do it to us."

"What do you mean?"

"You know, all the time she'll say something to one of us about the other. It's kind of pay back. Come on, say something really horrible about her," she encourages.

"I'd rather not." I pause. "Except that she's totally selfish."

"Good enough. Gotta go. See you in two hours." And then I hear the click of the phone as she hangs up.

The rest of the day I'm running around getting all the decorations together. The theme of the party is A Day At The Beach because she loves to show off her fantastic bikini-ready body. We even bought her a new bikini, extra skimpy to her and Frankie's liking.
