Chapter 9: Family Time ♥

Ella's POV

Me and Kayla woke up at around 12pm i think. Kayla went straight home after we ate our brunch, she told me that she had a late lunch early dinner with her extended family.

That got me thinking, why don't Me,Mom and Zander have some family time maybe we're gonna go to the mall or something.

I got out of my room and went to Mom's room.

"Mom, why don't we go to the mall and have some family time?" I asked Mom. She looked at me and smiled.

"That would be lovely Ella!" Mom exclaimed. "We haven't had some family time in a while."

"Yay! Thanks Mom, I'm gonna go to Zander's room to inform him." I said and Mom nodded in response.

I went out of mom's room and looked for Zander downstairs, maybe he's eating cause that's what he does all the time. He doesn't get fat though haha.

I searched for my little brother downstairs but he's nowhere to be found so I went back upstairs again. Wait, why didn't I check his room before I went downstairs? Use your brain Ella. Somebody's a dumbo, You know who? This girl. God I'm weird.

Okay, I'm infront of Zander's room. I don't need to knock anyway I have access to his room, and he has access to my room.

I peeked my head at his bedroom door and found my brother playing video games. When he's not eating he's playing video games. Typical teenage boys. He noticed I was there so he paused his video game and looked up.

"What's up sis?" Zander asked as I went in and sat at the edge of his bed.

"Well, I asked Mom if we could go to the mall and have some family time and she said yes so you better get prepared cause we're leaving in a while." I said as Zander smiled so wide.

"Will Do!" Zander said and saluted as I laughed. "Now shoo! I'm gonna change."

"Okay then." I said and smiled as I walked out of his room and went back to my room. Gotta get changing. I went inside the bathroom to take a bath while listening to music. Weird I know. I listen to music in the bathroom, Well that's me.

After I took a bath, I went out of the bathroom and looked for clothes to wear. I pulled out a union jack shirt paired with my red pants and I wore my red converse. To finish up what I'm wearing, I added lots of bracelets on my wrists and then tada! I'm done.

I don't understand why I'm fond of putting bracelets on my wrist. I'm somewhat addicted to putting bracelets i don't even know why.

After I brushed my hair I directly went downstairs and went to our living room and sad down at the couch, I patiently waited for my brother and Mom to finish. After a few minutes of waiting, Zander went down and sat with me and we both waited for Mom to come down.

Finally Mom came down and we went out of the house but not forgetting to lock the house when we went out.

I got in the passenger's seat while Zander went to sit at the back and lastly Mom sat in the driver's seat, obviously.

At the Mall . . .

The ride going to the mall was quiet, It's normally like that, we're silent people so that's normal for us to be quiet. We're kind of a quiet family I guess.

The 3 of us went out of the car and went inside the mall.

"So, where are we going?" Zander asked.

"Why don't we watch a movie?" Mom suggested.

"That would be lovely!" Me and Zander exclaimed at the same time.

"Okay then. Let's go." Mom said as we walked going to the movie theater.

The movie just finished. I wasn't really watching the movie anyway I was daydreaming about Luke. Yes Luke. I don't know why, he just popped up in my head.

Right now we're eating at a pizza place because:

1. We love pizzas

and

2. Number two

Zander was telling us that he likes this girl at school and I also told Mom and Zander that I liked Luke. In our family we don't keep secrets, We tell each other what's our secret. Specially to Mom, She should know everything and what is happening between me and Zander.

After we ate, we went outside of the pizza place and shopped a bit. I'm having loads of fun with my family. I've missed this. Our family bondings are the best. I may not have a perfect family but I'm contented with what I have right now. We all have our flaws and imperfections because we're human. If you dare say that you haven't lied your entire life then your lieing. We have sins and that's what makes us human.

My Dad isn't here anymore but our memories with him will be forever cherised.

Hiiiiii guys! i've missed you all! Sorry I didn't update last week. I was extremely busy with school that I had no time for writing. I'm so sorry.

I can't promise that I can update next week though. I'm a writer at school and I think we're gonna have our training, I'm not sure yet but I promise you guys that next chapter is gonna be long :)
