Chapter 13: A day with Zander ♥

1 week later. . . 

Ella's POV

I got up early today. It's a saturday anway so I don't have school. Luke isn't at town this weekend because he's visiting his relatives out of town. So I'm totally free this weekend.

This got me thinking, Why don't I spend my saturday with Zander, it's been ages since I last spent time with him so today's perfect.

Since it's still 7 AM I went downstairs to eat some food. I am so hungry. And plus Zander is probably still sleeping right now, He wakes up late on a saturday.

 When I was downstairs, suprisingly, I saw Zander already awake eating breakfast. Wow. Someone's up early. I went closer and sat down. Mom handed me my breakfast and I said thank you.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked Zander.

"I don't even know myself. This is unusual for me to be awake at this hour." Zander said.

"I know." I said agreeing.  He just nodded in response, I guess.

 After a few minutes of silence, I decided to break it because the silence around here is literally making me deaf.

"Zander, why don't we go to the mall together? To spend some quality time. 'Ya know, some bro and sis bonding." I told Zander.

"Sure! Awesome. I don't have plans for today anyway." Zander said.

"Great! Why don't we go there after eating breakfast?" I asked him. He nodded as a response of a 'yes.'

After we ate breakfast, We asked Mum if it was okay with her that we'll be at the mall and she said it was completely fine with her. So we both went to our seperate rooms and got changed.

 We both got changed a while later and we bid our Mum goodbye then we headed off. When we got to the mall we directly went to our favourite place in here, the arcade! 

We used to go here all the time when we were younger. When we were complete, Mom, Dad,Me and Zander. Those were the happy moments in my life. I honestly miss my Dad already,Wonder where he is right now. I haven't talked to him since I was 8 and know I'm 16. That was 8 years ago.

I wish I could see him someday and we could be a family again. My life feels so incomplete without him. 

"Ella? Ella?" Zander said as he waves his hand infront of my face.

"Uh Y-yes?" I answered him. 

"You zoned out for like 2 minutes." He said and laughed softly.

"I did? I'm sorry." I said and laughed. I haven't realized that I zoned out for 2 minutes.

"Yeah, You did. What were you thinking about?" Zander asked curiously.

"Nothing, I was just thinking about where Dad is right now." I said sadly. I saw Zander's smile turn upside down and now it's a frown. I know that he misses Dad so much. They were so close and when Dad left us Zander was crying and crying and couldn't stop. Eventually, He moved on and he's fine already.

"I miss Dad." Zander said.

"I miss him, too." I said sadly

"Hey don't be sad. We went here to be happy not to be sad and stuff." I said smiling and hitiing him playfully in his rib. Zander smiled and we both headed off to the arcade.

 When we arrived at our destined place, We directly went to our favourite place the just dance place! We picked a song then we danced. After we danced, we managed to score 5 stars. Woah!
