Chapter 16: Connor? ♥

Ella's POV

After Luke's band practice, we headed back home and decided to sleep because we were both really tired from a long ass day.

I was the first one to wake up so I decided to make breakfast for me and Luke.

I took all the ingredients needed for making pancakes.

After a few minutes, The pancakes are ready. I got the syrup from the fridge and set up everything for breakfast.

"Good Morning, Princess." Luke said as he hugged me from behind.

I faced back so we could face each other. "Good Morning to you too, Dork." I said while giggling.

Luke frowned. How cute. "But I'm your dork, right?" Luke said as he smiled cheekily. I answered his question by nodding and kissing his cheek.

"Let's get eating. Shall we?" I asked and Luke nodded.

After Me and Luke ate, He decided to wash the dishes while I rest here in the couch. Mom texted me and asked how are things going around here and I replied with, "Everything's fine here Mum :) Stay safe. Love you xx.'

I heard someone knock the door so I stood up and went for the door. I saw a tall boy about my age. I immediately recognized who it is!

"Con! It's you! Oh gosh, I missed you!" I exclaimed as I saw Connor standing by the door.

"Awe Little Ella grew up! I missed you too, dweeb." Connor said as we hugged each other. You see Connor is my childhood bestfriend, We met when we were both 5 years old at my Aunt's place. I was staying with them the whole summer that time and that was the time when I met Con. 11 years later, here we are.

"We have the same age you dweeb." I answered back. We have this cute little name for each other we made up when we first met. "Come inside! We have a lot of stuff to catch up on."

Connor went in and I introduced him to Luke they both shook hands. I noticed Connor had a hint of jelousy when I said the word 'boyfriend' as to introducing Luke. Why would he seem jealous? I mean we're just friends with Connor.

"Remember when we had our little ant fight back then?" Connor said. That was indeed a memorable day.

"Yes. Oh god that was so fun! When we fought the ants using water guns. Good times." I answered while chuckling.

I remember before we made this stupid promise that we'd both marry each other when we were older. What a stupid promise to make oh gosh. Oh god. I hope he forgot that already. I'm completely contented and happy with Luke at the moment. I mean, Connor is a handsome guy and all but I love Luke more and the only thing. I could only offer him friendship. I hope he understands that.

"I should get going now El! Thank you for the company. I'll visit soon! Here's my number, I'll text you later okay?" Connor said as we stood up, gave me his number and went to the door.

"Okay! Will do, dweeb." I told him. He went for the door and said something only he and I can hear. "I haven't forgot our promise dweeb. I'll win you back." As he said those words I couldn't help but cringe at what he said. Oh god.

"I think Connor dislikes me or something." Luke said after a few minutes after Con left.

"Why do you think of that?" I asked Luke. Why in the world would he hate Luke?

"I don't know. He kept on glaring at me awhile ago. You didn't notice though." Luke said.

"I didn't. Why don't I tell you something about our old days with Con? If it's fine with you anyway." I told Luke.

"Sure. It's fine, after all he's all just a friend anyway." I said while shrugging.

It's pretty early so Luke and I decided to go to the arcade. We don't have anything else to do so we decided on this.

At the arcade

Luke's POV

Aaaah the arcade. I love this place. This place is full childhood memories that I'll never forget.

"Ella, wanna play basketball?" I asked Ella after she got our tokens.

"Yeah sure! I love playing basketball." Ella said excitedly.

We went to the place where the basketball game was located and we put our tokens in the token collector.

"One, Two, Three, Go!" I shouted as the game began.

By now both Ella and I are shooting as fast as we could. Ella is leading at the moment. One more sho-- Time is up.

"I won!" Ella said proudly.

"Congrats babe." I laughed and kissed her cheek. Ella smiled.

"So what do we do next?" She asked.

"How about we roam around, yeah?" I answered.

"Sounds great. Let's go."

"Home sweet home!" Ella shouted when we came back to their place.

We were both exhausted from our trip from the mall, but we enjoyed it anyway. Ella bought some books that she really likes while I bought some band shirts and jeans. Then, we ate our dinner at this fancy restaurant around the corner and damn, The food was amazing.

Ella and I went up to her room so we can rest 'cause it's getting kinda late.

"Turn around while I change." Ella said.

"Aren't you used to me yet?" I asked while laughing.

"Fine fine. No peeking." She said while looking at me.

I nodded and covered my eyes while Ella changed.

"Done!" She said after a few minutes. Ella's just wearing a big shirt and damn, She got me staring at her.

"What are you staring at?" She asked.

That got me back to reality, "Nothing, nothing. Now it's my turn to change." I removed my shirt and pants and I changed in to some shorts.

"Aren't you gonna wear a shirt?" She asked. I shook my head in response.

"Are you sleeping in my bed?" She asked again.

"You decide, I'd be fine sleeping on the floor." I answered.

"No, no. Sleep here with me." She giggled. I went to her bed and I lay down beside her.

"I love you." I said as I cuddled her close.

"I love you more." She answered back and faced me so we were facing each other.

"I love you more than most forever and always." I said and we kissed. It was a sweet kiss.

Ella pulled back. "Now it's time so sleep, sleepyhead."

"Okay okay. Good Night, Princess. I love you so much." I said and kissed her cheek. She didn't respond back, meaning she's already asleep. I closed my eyes and let sleep come over me.

Hii guys! I'm back, I guess haha. I know it's been a looooong time since I haven't updated, and I'm sorry. School is being crap rn so I haven't got the time and I sort of lost my ideas in writing this story. But hey, I'm back.

Aaaand I also found out that Forever and Always now has 1.01k reads! That's amazing holy. I know that isn't really much, but that's a big achievement for me. I want to thank you guys for reading the story, I wouldn't have reached this many reads if it wasn't for you guys.

I don't know when I'm gonna update next so yeah, just keep an eye out for the next update. Haha.
