We start our story when Klaus, Violet, Sunny, Isadora, and Duncan are at the village of VFD.
They begin to run away in the self sustaining mobile home with one of their guardians, Hector.
Count Olaf is on their trail in his car full of his henchman and is girlfriend Izme ( assuming he won't mind the label). Izme aims at the mobile home with her harpoon and shoots Hector. His last words to the children were: "you children will always have a place in my heart, you tought me not to be afraid of people, and remember I believe you always." As the children were screaming, Count Olaf and his "gang" were laughing their heads off. They land the home in a series of mountains near this mysterious carnival. They have a proper burial for Hector and go up in the sky.
