Chapter 7
I could feel a pounding, or hear a pounding. My heart was spinning. I fluttered my eyes. Looking around I saw the damage done. Scratches and teeth marks all over the furniture and blood everywhere. Literally everywhere. I looked at myself and noticed the still spilling blood. The shards of glass that sunk deeper into my skin. I could feel the blood dripping off the side of my face. My heart was slow. Very very slow. I could hear in my head, my wolf was crying for help. Whining and whimpering. What was I going to do? The door was locked. I was stuck in here for death. I had absolutely no chance.
That’s when I heard banging on my door. My heart sped up slightly. I could feel the painful pounding of my heart. I took a deep smell of the air to be sure. Ralph. If my nose was correct. “Annabelle! Open the door!” Ralph yelled through my door. Thank god he found me.
“Help me!” I yelled with all my strength. I struggled to get up and move towards the door. I stumbled and fell into wall after wall. I felt drunk, but it was all due to blood loss.
“I’m gonna break the door down! Look out!” He yelled and banged the door several times before the door came flying down with Ralph stumbling through the door. His red eyes showed panic as he flew into my room and grabbed my body in his arms. His eyes scanned my body up and down, looking at my wounds. Then surveying the room to see the damage done. “What the hell happened?” He grabbed my cheek gentling, forcing me to look straight into his eyes.
“My roommate didn’t like me…” I mumbled, tears forming in my eyes. I was scared and lost. I feel like I’m gonna die any time soon. “Just let me die Ralph.” I begged him. I cupped my bloody hands around his cold jaw, tears burned down my scarred face.
“Fuck no. Let’s get out of here.” His face went so serious. He put his arms under my legs and carried my bride style as I couldn’t walk anymore. He put his one hand on the top of my head and pushed my face into his shoulder, so no one could see and I couldn’t see as he quickly left my room and went to the other side of the school. When I finally lifted my head, I noticed I was in front of 195, his dorm. He opened it quickly and slowly lowered me onto his bed. His room was grey and black. Everything. The bed had a crown like thing behind my head, with a cushioned head board. He had a dresser with a mirror on it and a large wardrobe thing with a massive mirror around the corner. A big black carpet lay on the floor in front of the bed. It was beautiful; I never expected it to look this way. “Here, drink my blood.” He held out his arm in front of my face.
I shook my head, “No…”I mumbled through tears.
“Yes Annabelle. You’ve lost too much blood.” His eyes were so soft and his face was concerned. He was actually serious about this. I shook my head again, leaning forward I grabbed his face and extended my canines. I caught him by surprise when I sunk my teeth into his neck, like they do to people. The best blood comes from the neck. My parents taught me that. I’ve never drank vampire blood before. It was bitter and cold, which hit my system like a rock, but it, was filling. When I was done, I pulled my teeth from his neck and licked the blood from the holes. I watched as his skin healed over so quickly.
“Incredible.” I muttered to myself watching how fast he healed.
“Not at all.” He smiled. His smile warmed my heart. I liked the gentle side of Ralph. He was actually the nicest vampire I have ever met. And I’m glad he’s watching over me. Instead of nasty Dean.
“I wish I could heal like that.” I laughed slightly.
“No you don’t.” His face went down. His light was killed. “I’m going to remove the shards of glass okay?” His face was panicked.
“Okay.” I mumbled, scared of the pain. He nodded and stripped all my clothing off carefully except my thong. The leather was hard to take off with the glass stuck. His face looked blushed when he unzipped the corset and revealed my bare skin. I was in too much pain to even care. I could feel his fingers in the wounds on my rip cage. I screamed at the top of my lungs in pain. It ripped my skin as he pulled a large piece out from my skin. The tears streamed down my face as he finished that one.
The door swung open suddenly, “What the fuck is going on here?!”
