MAKA'S POV

This morning, I woke up feeling perfectly fine. The sun grinning as always, waking up to go brush my teeth and to put up my hair. Changing into my clothes and finally: making breakfast. I go to Soul's room, and suprisingly enough Blair is not in there this morning. I go back to the kitchen to finish making our omlets.Soul walks outof his room, dressed and ready. "Good morning Soul." I state quietly. Soul grins while he opens the fridge and takes out a milk carton to drink from it. "Yo Maka." I hear him reply before he takes a gulp straight from the carton. "Nyan! Good morning everyone!" Blair walks out in her human form and sits at the dining table with us.

"Soul, we'd better hurry if we don't want to be late for our lesson with Sid and Stein today." After a few bites Soul groans and says, "Crap. I forgot about our lesson! Besides, it's only for meisters why do we have to come too?" I make a small tss sound and reply, "Because Soul. After we finish up with that we have our training with Sid. Idiot."

"Oh I'm the idiot here, shut your mouth, stupid nerd." I take out my book without warning and chop Soul's head. I watch as his head falls into his food, I place my coat on and turn around. "Alright you two! That's enough! Nyan, you guys are gonna fight right after you two just forgave one another?" Blair hisses at us to snap out of it.

You know...she's right. I don't want to have another horrible fight like we did just recently. I open my mouth to speak, but Soul beats me to it. "Sorry Maka." I smile and extend my hand out to Soul. "Let's get going." Soul hesitates, then takes my hand. "Right." Soul replies as walk out the door.

SOUL'S POV

We hop on my bike and I start the engine. We drive away from the building and head to school. Once we get there, we don't walk into the building, instead we head out into the fricken forest we have behind our school.

We see everyone waiting for us. Stein and Sid and the others. "Took you guys long enough! Why the hell are you making someone as BIG as me wait this damn long?!" I high five with Black Star and and everyone else says good morning to us.

Once we're finished, us Weapons sit down. Our Meisters walk up to the plate in front of Stein for their lesson on how to use their Soul Wavelengths.

STEIN'S POV

Today, everyone is present. That's good...but we have a lot to try and practice today. "Good morning everyone. Lord Death asked me to work with you three Mesiters. Today, each of you have different skills to work on. Let me tell you what each of you will be practicing from today on. Got it?"

I get a silent nod from the three and I take a paper from my pocket out. "Let's see. Kid, you will be assigned to learn how to use and attack with your Soul Wavelength. Black Star, you will be assigned to use the Soul Perception technique. Maka, you have a very special case...but I believe you will also be assigned to use you Soul Wavelength. Any objections?"

No one raises thee hands or objects to their homework. "Good, now let's about how to use your Soul Wavelengths. Can anyone tell me?" Black Star stomps his foot and says, "Of course I can! When you mean buisness, you feel this anger or you get put in this attack mode, and you just feel the urge to kill someone! That's when you use your Soul Wavelength in an offensive way!"

I shake my head ans state, "You on the right track." Kid steps in and states, "The Soul Wavelength is the rhythm of one's soul. The wavelength carries the true characteristics of a person's soul." I nod my head and say, "Good. Now, Maka can you list the abilites that Meisters can use?"

She nods her head and responds, "Some Meisters have the ability of Soul Perception, in which they can can sense other Souls. Other Meisters have a higher class of using their Soul Wavelengths, in which they can attack a victim physically, such as Black Star can." I nod my hea at the intelligence.

Now Maka, can you list the different types of Wavelengths?" I ask quietly. "Hmm...there is the Exorcism Wavelength, Healing Wavelength, Anti-Demon wavelength and the Madness wavelngth." I nod my head at Maka's response and explain something to everyone, "Now both Kid and Black Star are in the class of the Anti-Demon Wavelength. But Maka...you are both the Anti-Demon and Maddness Wavelengths."

I watch Maka's reaction. Frightened, scared, shocked. I get it, but this phenominon I'm sensing from her soul is different. "You see Maka. You and Soul have black blood inside. Now for you to use your Soul Wavelength against others, you must connect madness and emotion together. So...when you fought against Wes, did you feel anything, any emotion?"

MAKA'S POV

Once Dr.Stein asked me that. When I fought Wes, I felt anger and I used my Soul Wavelength. "Well, after Wes had hit Soul, I guess I got a little pissed off. So I felt this tingy feeling in my right hand, and I had electricuted Wes. That's how he died I guess."

Everyone stayed quiet for a while. "I see, well that's exaclty what I'm talking about." Professor Stein says to me. I nod my head and he adds one more thing, "Now you know your tasks for the week. Lord Death needs you all to learn how to use these different abilites in the next two weeks. That's all from me for today."

Professor Stein switches up wh Sid. This time, our Weapon Partners get up from the ground and they stand next to us. "Today I need to give you all tasks. To be sure that your Soul Wavelengths are compatable...in the next two days, you all will bring Lord Death a Kishin Egg's soul. Go and pick out the job you will like to take on. Class dismissed."

We all nod our heads and walk o the school building. I look over to Soul and sk him, "Which job should we take?" He looks around and points to one, "Look. I think this one should be fine. The Masked Man. Sounds cool." I nod my head and decide to go with it.

We just came back to school, and now we are going to be absent. Again. But not for long, we have two days to complete this task. Besides this "Masked Man" is here in Death City, so it should be easy. We walk out of the school building. Wow. It's already sunset.

I hop on the bike with Soul. We know what we have to do. Tomorow we head to school like normal, then after school...we go after this Masked Man. Doesn't seem like much of a challenge..but how will I ever learn how to use Thrashing Maddness again?
