A corrupted soul-an attack from a soul wavelength?

MAKA'S POV

I close my eyes and scream out in fear, "K-Kyaaaaaa!!!!!" I hear a ripping sound, but I feel no pain. This isn't right...did I die before Wes could strike me? With courage, I open my eyes and my jaw drops wide open. I saw something...that I had already seen twice. Not again...please.

Soul jumped right in front of me and took the blow for me.

He opens his eyes and gazes at me, griting his teeth he slowly tells me, "Your alright..." Soul falls onto my lap and I start fighting back tears. "SOUL!!!!!! No, please Soul you can't do this to me again! I was wrong, I always am! I do...I do need you Soul!" I let my tears flood onto Soul's back and I place my head on his body and pounding him to come back.

Wes laughs and drops his axe. "Whoops! Looks like it's all over for you Maka Albarn, I guess you two arn't very bright, are you?" I let another tear race down my cheek and I lean in to Soul. His soul wavelength...I can barely feel it now. He's about to die, like me. Without thinking I do something so suddenly.

I let go of Soul and get up. I feel this energy jolting up inside...my hands grab onto my anger spreading around the air around us. I run up to Wes without him guarding himself. I slide and hault myself 4 inches in front of Wes. I punch Wes in the gut and yell out,

"Thrashing Madness!!!!"

I send Wes flying far from me and Soul, into a wall that pins him down. We struggles to get up and I walk up to him...with my deep gash closing up in smokey flames. Wes turns his head and asks terrifed, "B-But how? Maka Albarn...you were never able to use your Soul Wavelength against anyone before."

I shake my head and stare at him furiously and say. "It's because we're strong."I thump my heart with my fist and add, "Right here." I watch Wes as he boils and melts away slowly. Wes smiles right before disappearing, "You've beaten me at my own game, Maka Albarn." I stand alone, watching the red/black kishin egg glowing in front of me.

I grab it and walk towards Soul. I shake him lightly and allow Soul to take his time to eat the soul. It's finally over...we won. I put Soul over my body and carry him towards the exit. I question myself at what I did to defeat Wes.

Thrashing Madness? That was what I said, right? Was that really my attack from using my soul wavelength or was it....madness? How did my big wound heal, that's impossible. I shake my head and hear Soul groan. I smile and take a deep breath of relief. Well, it doesn't matter-that's the lest of my worries.

I stand at the entrance of the cave, and take my first step into broad daylight. I take a breath of fresh air and start to recognize many people. I lay Soul down and stare at them...wondering how long it would take for them to notice me. Let's see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7-

"MAKA!!!!!!!!!!!" I smile and watch everyone race up to me and almost killing me with hugs and tears. My papa ruins the moment when he tries to hug me and I look at him like *Get the hell away from me.* "Maka....Chop!!!!" I chop my papa's head and make him faint right then and there, grining to myself, Ms.Marie walks up to me. Giving me a smile, that moment she broke into tears and fell to her knees...not letting go of her hug.

I pat Ms.Marie's back as she shrieks out, "Maka do not ever disappear like that again!" What's she talking about...I was kidnapped. Dr.Stein walks up to me and asks, "What happened to Wes?" I make contact with him and say, "He's no longer a problem sir." Dr.Stein smiles and then looks at my wounds on my body. "What happened?" He asks.

I flinch and say nervously, "W-Well I guess you could say Soul and I had a pretty hard time fighting Wes. Ahe he he." I giggle trying to cover up my irresponsibility of fighting. Stein stares at me coldly, and when I think I am about to be hit...I get, petted? Stein pets my head and says, "We'll talk with Lord Death once we get back."

Stein, Marie, Nygus, Sid and Papa walk away while I get a huge slap on the back that almost makes me fall. "Hey-" I get cut off by Black Star and Tsubaki while he states, "Hey Maka! Long time no see! I thought you and Soul were gonna die for a second, feeling cold? No worries, the star is here, and when I'm here you are never cold! In fact you are never scared when I'm here, ha ha ha!"

I just make a confused face and I think to myself: *That doesn't even make sense.* Tsubaki hugs me, wiping the tears threatening to fall out of her eyes. She whispers into my ear, "I hope you don't mind, but Black Star and I will be working together again." I nod my head and smile, whispering back, "I think your the only one for Black Star. I mean, you are the only one that can stand him."

Kid, Liz an Patty walk up to me. "I see your doing pretty fine for a long time underground, you must be hungry." Kid offers me a sandwhich and my mouth literally waters. Kid begins with a statement, "I have this sanwhich if you would like-" I cut him off by swiping it from him and yelling, "YES!!!!"

I gobble down my sandwhich and Patty pats my back saying, "It's so awesome to have you back! Ha ha ha!" I smile at Liz and Patty, and we head towards where everyone else is. Nygus begins an examination on Soul.

First, she removes his sweater and shirt. 0///////0 I give a little, "Eekkk!" And turn around quickly....Nygus then examines Soul's back in which Wes pounded him straight onto Soul's back. I watch Nygus as she examines him, and she gives us a feared look. Nyugus tells us urgently, "We need to get back to Death City, and quick."
