All the baddies looked at us menacingly, I could tell there was going to be a really big brawl about to go down. I instantly knew there was something wrong. This isn't how it was supposed to go. Not at all.

'I failed...I failed everyone. How are we going to fix this? Is this even fixable?'

I was broke out of my thoughts as Pit poked me. "(Y/n)? Is something wrong?" He asked looking at me. I nodded slowly still shook knowing the timeline is messed up. "Pit, this isn't supposed to happen! None of this was supposed to happen! The timeline is messed up Pit! I don't know what to do!" I said as tears gathered in my eyes but they never fell.

Pit's eyes widened but he began to try and reassure me. "Don't worry (Y/n), we'll handle this! I promise we'll win this battle." He said with a confident smile, causing me to smile back. "I am slightly curious but what is suppose to happen, (Y/n)?" Marth asked holding his unsheathed sword.

I thought for a second before replying. "Well, the baddies are supposed to help us fight Tabuu! but they aren't for some reason..." I was really confused. I was brought back to reality when I heard Bowser give a loud roar of anger. After he finished, all of the baddies charged at us knowing we weren't completely ready for it.

Trainer grabbed my hand and dragged me a good distance away from the battle but close enough to where he could still call out moves to his Pokemon. Everyone fought the best they could but, the baddies had the upper hand. I was beginning to grow worried. I wanted to believe that they would be able to beat them and win but...

Trainer must have noticed my discouragement because he placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled sadly. " I know what you're thinking and you might be right. We might not win this battle." He said bluntly. My eyes widened. "What?! How could you say that? Trainer!" I said, upset that he was accepting defeat.

I couldn't believe that Trainer was accepting defeat. The people in the battle aren't supposed to think like that, but maybe it's partially my fault. I'm the one moping and undetermined, so maybe my aura is affecting everyone else. I thought of everyone dying and got a quick boost of sadness and determination.

"Trainer! You can't give up! I believe that you all can get through this. You just have to believe!" I said looking at him, determined to get him to not accept defeat so easily.

Sadly, it did nothing as Trainer looked at me sadly. "(Y/n), there's nothing we can do. We're just gonna-" He was cut off by an explosion. The explosion was from Wario and it finished off the rest of our people. I was so focused on Trainer that I hadn't realized that so many of our friends were defeated. Even Trainer's Pokemon were defeated.

Only me and Trainer were left. I couldn't believe it. All we went through...just lead to this? What did I do wrong? I failed them. All of them. Tears gathered in my eyes as I choked back a sob.

The baddies looked at us. They knew that we were pretty useless at the moment. We couldn't do anything or at least I couldn't. Ganondorf began slowly making his way towards us. Trainer looked at me over his shoulder. He had a sad look on his face. I knew why. As Ganondorf drew closer, Trainer stood in front of me to protect me.

Ganondorf stopped in front of Trainer. "Give us the girl and we'll kill you quick and painless." He said looking at me. My eyes widened.

'Why do they want me? What could I possibly do for them?' I thought to myself. Trainer glared at Ganon and as soon as Ganondorf got close enough to Trainer, Trainer threw a punch.

Ganondorf didn't even have to move, he grabbed Trainers fist before it made contact with him and punched him in the gut. Trainer hunched over from the blow to his stomach. Using Trainer hunched over as an advantage, Ganondorf kneed Trainer in the face knocking him out and turning him into a trophy. I stared at Trainer's trophy, I was horrified at what was happening.

Ganondorf walked until he was in front of me and grabbed my wrist. I tried to yank my wrist out of his grip but nothing worked.

"Let me go, you fucking idiot!! How could you?! Tabuu cannot be trusted, why can't you see that!?" I yelled at him. He growled annoyed that I was yelling so loud. He tried to drag me towards Tabuu but I was resisting, so he threw me over his shoulder.

I continued to shout at him, upset that they were helping Tabuu. Eventually, I just stopped and cried. There was literally nothing I could do. I couldn't fight against them, even if I did know how to fight I wouldn't be able to take them down. Ganondorf soon came to a stop and threw me to the ground in front of Tabuu.

Before Tabuu could do anything, a blue streak flew past him. I began to hear the sound of people being revived. 'Blue...streak?'

'Wait...Sonic! I forgot that he was in subspace!!' I thought. I smiled, happy that we have another chance. I turned to see Sonic had revived some people like Ike, Mr. Game & Watch, Pit, and Kirby. Kirby and Mr. Game and Watch began reviving more people while Ike, Pit, and Sonic began fighting the baddies.

Every person that got revived joined the battle, helping the others fight the baddies. I believe that they can win this time. Once someone revived Trainer, he looked around before landing his gaze on me. He sent one of his Pokemon out and ran over to me. He hugged me as soon as he got close enough to me.

"I'm so sorry (Y/n). I couldn't protect you..." He whispered sadly. I shook my head, disagreeing with his statement. "No Trainer, I should be the one apologizing. If it weren't for me, none of this would even be happening." I said, hugging him back. After a couple of seconds, he let go and began helping his Pokemon fight.

Eventually, all of the baddies were defeated and all that was left was Tabuu. We all turned to face Tabuu who had to now face three dozen smashers. He had no chances. We all knew that. So, they all fought him. It was a hard, long, well-fought battle but they did it. They managed to defeat Tabuu. I don't exactly remember how it looked like defeating him in the game.

It was epic seeing them defeat Tabuu. Although, he disappeared and I'm not sure if that means he's really defeated or if he's just gone, but oh well we still did it!

Everyone was happy. They were cheering and celebrating. Pit and Trainer walked up to me and pulled me into a celebratory hug. I laughed and hugged them back. "We did it (Y/n)!! We finally did it!!" Pit said happily. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, you guys were amazing out there!!" I said.

A lot of people came up to me, celebrating our victory and thanking me for helping them, even if I barely did anything. Then Ike walked up to me sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. "Hey, I'm really sorry for not trusting you back at the battlefield. I shouldn't have been so stupid." He said.

I smiled at him. "It's okay, I can understand that I seemed a little...unbelievable and suspicious. So, it's okay Ike. I forgive you."

He gave me a small smile of appreciation.

And after that, there was a bright light that took over my vision.

We did it...We finally did it...

Maybe one day we'll meet again in the future...

But for now, Adiós mi amigos

I'll see you on the flip side.
