It's been a month since Coraline arrived at Willow's Edge. A town located far from any of the governing kingdoms territory. Most of the people visiting are just passing through with no real intentions of staying, considering the strange things that keeps happening and the place being notoriously known for its high death rates. This place also happens to be the favorite haunts of supernatural beings and ravenous beasts. Some might even wonder who in their right state of mind would voluntarily stay in this hell ridden monster feeding ground.

Well it turns out, there's quite a lot who find the danger appealing. The most common once are Hunters and Mercenaries.

The hunters would hunt down rare and dangerous beasts and sell off their parts such as horns, skins, and pelts that would fetch a very high price in the black market. Their heart, kidney, and other organs that could be used for medicinal purposes would sell quickly in the open pharmacies, especially the once that could be used for aphrodisiac and sexual enhancer for the libido.

The mercenaries aren't that different from Hunters. Only difference is, they only hunt humans. They would sometimes come here to track down wanted and escape felons, dead or alive, it doesn't really matter to them as long as they get paid.

"Good afternoon." the blonde pharmacist seemingly eager to see Coraline. "Did you get them?" She asked, looking at her with high expectations.

Coraline rolled her eyes, placing the materials wrapped in cloth on the table. "Yes Beth, I got them."

Beth unwraps the cloth, revealing the rare plant that she's been desperately trying to procure for the last eight months. "Oh you're a blessing." She said, hugging Coraline.

"Can I get payed now?" Coraline impatiently said. "The deal was three gold coins, no more no less."

"Of course, I would never forget." Beth placed three gold coins on Coraline's palm. "If you can get me more of this I'll even double the amount."

"What's so special about this plants anyway?" Coraline asked, remembering the nymphs she had to gut like a fish just so they would give the plant's location.

"These aren't just plants." Beth puts them inside a large jar and closes the lid tightly. "These are mystic plants. Druids used this when their meditating or when their trying to contact spirits. Some say if you use a certain amount. The veil of reality starts to get thinner and you would be able to see other worlds."

"That's amazing." Coraline sounding a little interested, "What are they called?"

"The nobles and alchemist from the kingdom calls them Cannabis, but because of how they look the common folks just calls them Weed." Beth said.

"I think I would like to try some of those in my free time." Coraline taking an interest in the rare plant. "Do you have any more jobs for me to do?" she asked.

"Just gathering up some common medicinal herbs, nothing I couldn't do." Beth said. "I'll let you know when something interesting pops up."

Coraline left the pharmacy and heads to the Sinners Inn to grab something to eat.
