Journal entry: 01
May 2, 2012
Time recorded: 12:01 a.m.Have you ever felt inadequate? Have you ever wondered if anyone would notice if you disappeared?
Have you ever wanted to disappear? Have you ever wanted to bury yourself away were no one would ever ever have the chance of finding you again?
Do you want to disappear? Do you want to escape the dull mundane life? What would you do if you had the chance to immerse yourself into oblivion? Would you?
Would you ever give yourself over to temptation and let go of all your reservations?
Would you gladly take the offer to become someone totally different for one night? One day?
Would you be able to handle the aftereffects?
End of journal entry.

His room was cold the next morning, and with a soft yet tired moan, he rolled over and pulled the blankets higher beneath his chin. As he laid there, desperately hoping for more sleep, he heard his bedroom door creak open.
Baekhyun internally cringed as he prepared his body for the rude awakening - and he wasn't disappointed. His older brother, Baekbeom, landed like an elephant amount of weight onto Baekhyun's back, making him wheeze and breathlessly gasp, "Get . . . off . . . you . . . hippo!"
Baekbeom chuckled and rolled over onto his side, landing beside Baekhyun as he grinned and flicked his nose before saying, "Hey, baby brother! And who were you calling 'hippo', you ass."
Baekhyun laughed and shoved his brother away as he sat up and retorted, "Why you, obviously!"
Baekbeom's eyes narrowed and he pursed his lips, and knowing that he better start running for his life, Baekhyun launched himself out of his bed and ran as fast as he could to the bathroom, swiftly locking the door behind him that only minutes later Baekbeom was jiggling the knob.
"I'll get you back, later!" his brother promised before his footsteps faded down the hallway.
Baekhyun grinned to himself, but just as quickly his happy mood faded away as he started to remember what today was.
Monday.
The beginning of a new week of hell. The repetition of his inevitable torture and the endless mockery.
Byun Baekhyun was a quiet kid when he was at school, too afraid to speak his mind, which ultimately turned him into a target for bullying. And he never told anyone - he was too afraid of the repercussions.
They thought he was weird and a freak because he so rarely talked. And they called him a child for the way he dressed and acted with his friends - the only people he ever felt comfortable to be himself with in that hell hole.
They abused him both mentally and physically. They hurt him with their words. They hurt him with their fists.
And he never told a soul, he only dealt with it day after day, and found an outlet to express his internal pain.
Why must they hate me so much? Baekhyun wondered as he stared unseeingly at his reflection. Why do they have to hurt me everyday? Maybe they're sad themselves? And isn't that how a bully is usually born, through their own shortcomings?
With a small sigh, Baekhyun began his morning routine.
He couldn't wait for the day to begin. His endless torture was beginning yet again.
