Journal entry: 06
May 12, 2012
Time recorded: 1:30 a.m.Sleep evades me. My thoughts are too loud and my brain won't quiet down.
It's been three days and I still feel like it was only yesterday.
I feel like I had been used, even despite the fact that I had consented. Willingly submitted myself to him.
I'm ashamed.
My brother is worried for me. And I am sad.
So sad. So lonely.
It's a bad combination, and I regret everything.
I'm sorry.
End of journal entry.

Baekhyun woke that morning overly tired with the beginning of a headache already throbbing in his left temple. He laid in bed until he heard his brother calling to him from somewhere in the house.
Baekhyun choose not to answer, and then soon enough his door was being pushed open and Baekbeom's head appeared, seeing if Baekhyun was decent, before fully entering his room.
Baekbeom took a sit on the edge of Baekhyun's bed and softly said, "Baek, you know you have to go to school today. It's been two days now that you've missed. You can't miss today too."
Baekhyun sighed and rolled over onto his side, facing his brother while he murmured, "Hyung, what am I going to do if he told someone? He promised me he wouldn't . . ." Baekhyun trailed off as tears formed in his eyes. "I'll kill him if he told anyone," Baekhyun murmured.
"Baek, I know you don't want to, but you'll have to face this. You'll have to go back eventually," Baekbeom said.
"But why does it have to be today?" Baekhyun sighed.
Baekbeom chuckled and brushed Baekhyun's hair back from his forehead as he murmured, "Because it just has to be. Now get dressed, we're leaving in an hour whether you're ready or not, Baekhyun, got it?"
Baekhyun groaned and grumbled, "Yeah, got it."
--
Baekhyun was afraid as he walked into the school. He didn't want to know what people were calling him if Jungkook hadn't kept his promise - if he had lied.
Baekhyun looked hazardous. He hadn't been able sleep the nights before and he was a complete and utter wreck as a result. It was a shame.
Like he did every school morning, his first priority was going to the restroom to decompress and calm his frazzled nerves.
There was never anyone in the bathroom when Baekhyun was, so when he walked in and found a boy standing at the sink washing his hands, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment. The boy looked just as embarrassed, and sheepishly he glanced away, averting his eyes from Baekhyun's teary face.
Quickly wiping his cheeks, Baekhyun mumbled, "I'm sorry, I didn't realize anyone was in here. I'll leave."
The boy reached his hand out, grabbing Baekhyun's wrist as he hurriedly said, "Hey, no, you're fine. Don't worry about it." The boy smiled kindly and Baekhyun smiled back sheepishly as he murmured, "Thanks, I'm Baekhyun, by the way. Byun Baekhyun."
The boy smiled again and stretched his hand out, clasping Baekhyun's as he replied, "Hi, there! I'm Do Kyungsoo, it's nice to meet you, Baekhyun."
Baekhyun nodded and asked, "Um, do you mind if I ask you a question?"
"Um, no, I guess not," Kyungsoo replied almost hesitantly.
Baekhyun nervously bit his lip and murmured, "Are you a new student here?"
Kyungsoo chuckled with obvious relief and asked, "Is that all? I thought you were going to ask something more personal." He laughed again and said, "And yeah, I mean. So, would you mind showing me around maybe? Because this being a new school and all, I would hate to get lost."
Baekhyun's smile came more easily when he replied, "Yeah, I would love too!"
--
"Okay, just down this hall is the cafeteria," Baekhyun said, gesturing to his left as he noticed Kyungsoo nervously fiddling with his fingers. "Everything okay?" Baekhyun asked.
Kyungsoo nodded hurriedly, then sighed and said, "Actually, I don't know anyone here but you, so....would you mind if I sat with you for the day?"
Baekhyun shook his head and replied, "Not at all, and I'm sure my other friends won't mind, so it should be fine."
"Other friends?" Kyungsoo asked. "So does that mean, I'm your friend, now too?"
Baekhyun nodded and smiled as he brightly replied, "Of course!"
Kyungsoo beamed brightly and cheered, "Awesome! My first new friend!"
Baekhyun laughed and hushed him, and quietly hissed around little giggles, "Kyungsoo, not so loud! Someone could hear you."
Kyungsoo cringed and sheepishly mouthed, "Sorry."
Baekhyun playfully rolled his eyes, and they were about to continue their tour when a very sickly familiar voice called, "Puppet! I missed you!" And then sooner than he would have liked, a pair of arms were wrapping around his shoulders and pulling him close.
Baekhyun cringed and muttered, "Oh, h-hey, J-Jungkook."
Jungkook pulled back and cupped Baekhyun's cheeks, his eyes flickering from Baekhyun's to his lips before suddenly Jungkook had crushed their mouth's together. As he kissed him, he harshly whispered against his lips, "Mine," causing Baekhyun to gasp. Jungkook took that as the opportunity to force his tongue inside Baekhyun's mouth. Baekhyun instantly clamped up and felt fresh tears spring to his eyes.
When it was finally over, Jungkook pecked Baekhyun's cheek and moved his lips to his ear to whisper, "Can we make up those two days you missed school, puppet? It would make me so happy." All Baekhyun could do was numbly nodded before Jungkook smiled again, forced another kiss, and then left.
Baekhyun felt tears rolling down his cheeks, and he had almost forgotten Kyungsoo was there until he felt him gently touch his arm and softly ask, "Baek, what just happened? Was that guy your boyfriend or something?"
"He'll never be my boyfriend," Baekhyun suddenly sobbed as he was soon enough clasping onto the floor in a pool of tears.
Kyungsoo's heart broke at the sight, and worried about the boy, he crouched down and wrapped him into a hug as he quietly murmured, "Hey, it'll be okay. I'm here for you, Baek. Shhh, let it out."
Once his sobs had subsided, Baekhyun sniffled and murmured, "Thanks, Soo."
Kyungsoo nodded and bit his bottom lip, clearly wanting to ask something but not knowing how or if he should. Baekhyun smiled thinly in reassurance and murmured, "It's okay, Kyungsoo, if you have a question, just ask."
So he did, and Baekhyun told him everything, not fearing that this boy would betray him. And that day, while huddling in one of the empty classrooms, both boy's promised to always be there for the other, no matter what happened.
