"Jungkook! I told you to stay home you fucking bastard!" His father stood up and clenched his fists. The gang members held him back, the gun was removed from my head and pointed at him. My stomach in knots and my palms sweaty from the scene. I took this chance to try to push my hands out with all the strength in me.

"Appa please.... Please. Don't hurt her." He shook his head continuously and in pursuit to release himself from the holdings. His appearance was a mess, my heart heavy of his dull expression and tired face.

"Let go of him." The two men released him on command onto the floor, now he was kneeling. The others left the room in his father's signal.

"Please Appa. I beg you." He pleaded. I watched the others in distraction, it was difficult to untie. Tied fixedly.

"Shut it. I know you kept that whore with you. You're pathetic. You're a disgrace. You've lowered your standards too? How is it that my son was having an affair with my own enemy?" He scoffed.

"Don't hurt her." His lips trembled.

My wrists nearly slipping out, the rope material burning my skin. The pain the least of my misery.

"Kill me instead, send me to the mental institution. Do whatever you want...just don't touch her." His words in a tone of plea, drowning my face of a cry. I held my lips pressed together to keep muted and forgotten. My hands just needed to withdraw.

"Son, it's better if I get rid of a troublesome leech like you. Your existence only bringing me down in this society. Do you know how much of a nuisance you are?"

"I-I do. I-I'm sorry for having a mental illness. I'm s-sorry for wrecking your status. B-but Appa. You made me this way. You put a hole in me. You made my life a cycle of hell! Nothing satisfies you, nothing fulfills you! You don't even consider me as your son! You're delusional with your company! You're a psychopath!" His shout echoing in the room. I was just moments away from being detached.

"Shut up! You're a psychopath you hear me! You don't deserve a precious piece of my company!"

I was loosened.

His father had the gun in his own hands and shot the floor. Near Jungkook. His body shaking in fear, kneeling further down and covering his ears. His breathing could be heard abnormal. I quickly ran myself over to him, my legs weak and sore, holding his shoulders in comfort. In any way that was possible. Situating his head under my neck, stroking his shuffled pieces of hair.

"You both weren't watching her?!" His father pointed the gun at the men.

I felt a whisper brush along my chest, in huffs, in blows. I looked down as he was mouthing to say something. His eyes were closed and lips drawn apart. I placed an ear near his mouth.

'G-u-n. B-e-l-t'

I moved my hand to the back of his pants, the metal structure almost unidentifiable as it was underneath his thick clothing. I watched the actions of the men, so I could make the perfect move.

"S-sorry sir!" They made their way towards us on the floor.

"Stop, I can finish it here." He nodded.

"One last thing I forgot to mention."

I had the audacity to speak now. "Wh-what is it?"

"Hoseok."

"Hoseok?"

"Jung Hoseok. You should be grateful to him."

What did Hoseok have to do with any of this?

"He reported me your every move. He's a good cherry boy. I compromised to give him a fortunate number of shares."

My jaw clenched in a tight response. How was that-? The party. That didn't make sense, but it did briefly. Hoseok wouldn't do that. He always had good morals, I trusted him. The only person that I did at the time.

"Thankfully I found you. But unfortunately, with my son." He shook his head, all emotions drained from his gruesome aspect.

Focused on his movement with the trigger, I slid the gun from behind me and triggered a shot at his own pistol as swiftly as possible.

The elder man groaned in discomfort. I grabbed the fallen gun and stood abruptly. Holding both in each grip, my hands fervently shaking. I aimed the gun on the two men and the other on Jungkook's father. They held their hands high and now the frightened expression was smudged on them. I looked down to see Jungkook holding in, breathing better than previously.

"Listen. Mari....Put the guns down. L-Let's make a deal."

I looked at him in disbelief. "Deal?"

"I-I'll give you half the stocks, I'll g-give you more than just half. J-ust don't sh-oot me." He was stuttering in fear, walking slowly back to the table.

"But you can't give me the entire company? The company that MY parents own, but it was stolen by you. Taking away all our happiness!"

"You're wanting too much, you're being too greedy Mari."

I jerked the gun towards his head. "You're sick. You need help. Jungkook doesn't, you do." I jeered.

Two other men entered the scene, one holding a gun in our direction.

"Jungkook!"

Without a second.

Without a chance to inhale...

Without a moment to say my last longing words...
