Chapter Five

Lili POV

I was sitting at my vanity getting ready. Water from my wet blonde hair was dripping down my back and into my towel. I had just gotten out of a bath and was doing my hair and makeup. We were planning on leaving around 7 but he couldn't get reservations until 9:45. He didn't tell me what we were doing or anything which I hated. I finished blow drying my hair and putting on light makeup. I got up from the chair at my vanity and walked over to my bed I had already laid out the dress I was going to wear. It was a red dress with a slit at the bottom to reveal some of my leg. I let the towel fall off of me leaving myself bare and slipped on the dress. It formed right to my body and all my curves. I walked over to the mirror that was hanging on my wall and admired myself. I slipped on my red heels and tan jacket and went to look for my purse and phone. I heard three knocks on my apartment door and walked over to see the one and only Cole standing with a bouquet of flowers. "Cole these are beautiful!" I said smiling as I admired the the whit roses and purple flowers. "Smile I have to take a picture of them!" I said pulling out my phone and snapping a picture. "Okay let me put them in a vase and then we can go." I said grabbing them. As I started to walk away I saw him stay still "Cole you can come in." I said laughing "Oh sorry." He said "Are you okay?" I asked "Yeah I'm fine I just you look beautiful." He said. "And you look handsome" I said.  He was wearing black slacks and a black shirt with a brown jacket. "We better get going we're going to be late" He said looking down at his phone "Okay let's go"

20 minutes later

We had arrived at the mystery destination which I soon found out to be a restaurant. He put the car in park and turned off the engine and soon got out and made his way to my door. "Thank you kind sir" I said smiling as he opened my door "Your welcome Juliet" He said calling me what he calls Betty and in Riverdale. We started walking to the restaurant and soon headed inside. I looked around to see a completely empty restaurant "Cole are you sure they are opened" I asked looking around once more "They are." He said smiling at me "Then where is everyone?" I asked "I rented it out just for us I didn't want paparazzi bugging us or anything like that. I want this to be special just you and me." He said and started walking to a table. I followed him and saw a table with roses in the center and next to it was a white wine. "Cole this is amazing" I said taking a seat "All for you" He said smiling as he took a seat as well "I also have one more thing planned after this so don't think that this is all of it" He said

1 hour later

We had finished our dinner which was a delicious steak dinner and cheesecake as dessert. We were now headed to our next destination which I knew was to the beach because we were getting close to where the water was. "We're here" He said parking the car. Again being the gentlemen he is he came and opened up my door and helped me out of the car. "You know we are a little dressed up fro the beach" I said laughing a little "Oh well" He said he grabbed my hand and we walked towards the beach. As we walked we walked in silence listening to the waves crashing again each other and hitting the sand along with the birds chirping and flying away. We walked down the bridge to get to the beach but before we hit the sand we took off our shoes so we could let our feet hit the cold tan sand. "So I thought we could sit and just talk and get to know each other more and watch the stars. I set up a blanket and some snacks for us" He said pointing towards where it all was. "You are such a romantic." I said giving him a kiss on his cheek. We both took a seat on the blanket and looked up and watched the stars. "It's so beautiful out here" I said "I know there is so many stars out and the moon is full. I'm glad I'm able to do this with you." He said looking over at me "Me too" I said looking back at him. It got silent again but a comfortable silence. I started to lean and in soon our lips met each other.
