Chapter Twenty Seven

2 and half months earlier [lili]

I sat in the other room as the test that was sitting on my bathroom counter were calculating the results. I was scared of what it was going to say. Am I or am I not that was what kept bugging me. I was only 21 years old and still in acting I wasn't ready or am I? I played with my thumbs until my alarm of 2 minutes went off letting me know it was time. I stood up slowly and walked to my bathroom to check it to see what was the results. I turned on the light and looked down at the sticks I took 2 just for good measures. I looked at the first one and saw the two lines and then the digital one. Pregnant it read that is what is was I was pregnant. I already assumed I was since I was almost a month and a half late but I didn't really believe it could be true. I was going to be a mom now and he was going to be a dad. Were we ready? Are we ready for this big thing? We haven't even been together that long what if he leaves me?  All these questions popping into my head. This one little word, one test can and will change anything.

I heard the front door open and close and a familiar voice. "Baby I'm back." He said I could hear his footsteps coming closer to the bedroom I didn't know what to do would. I went to pick up the test quickly to hide them but was to late. "What are those?" He asked pointing to the test in my hand "Surprise?" I said showing them to him I watched as he slowly walked up closer to me and take them out of my hand. He stared at them for what felt like minutes silently. "Cole?" I said I watched as his he lifted his head and a smile come across his face "Are you pregnant?" He asked I nodded my head and without warning he picked me up and spun me around. "I'm going to be a dad!" He said putting me down "Were going to be parents!" He yelled grabbing my face and giving me a big kiss. "We are" I said smiling at him. "How many weeks are you?" He asked "I am not sure maybe 5 weeks" I said "I can't believe it!" He said sitting down on the bed. "Me either but I'm excited and scared." I said taking a seat next to him "Before we tell anyone I want to go to the doctors first" I said playing with hair "Yes doctors first then we tell our parents and friends." He agreed "I should probably make an appointment now I will be right back" I said standing up and grabbing my phone.

Cole POV

I couldn't believe it I was going to be a father. I was going to have a baby of my own with the love of my life. I never thought that at 25 I would be starting a family and have a successful career in what I love most which is acting. I wanted to pick up my phone and tell everyone that soon I was going to be a dad. I laid back on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. I laid there in thought thinking about would it be a girl or a boy? Would I be a good father?

I was soon taken out of my thoughts by Lili crawling and siting on me lap "I have an appointment tomorrow" she said smiling "What time?" I asked "10 o clock in the morning" she said "What will they do?" I asked "Confirm I'm pregnant and give me my birth date." She explained "When can we find out the sex of the baby?" I asked  "Around 16 weeks I think but I'm not sure" she said. I leaned up holding her waist to make sure she didn't fall off me of the bed. "I'm happy" I said putting my forehead against hers "Me too"

Next day

[Lili]

"Are you ready?" Cole asked as he grabbed the keys "Yes and No" I said slipping on my shoes I stood up once my shoes were on and walked over towards him. "It will be okay" He said wrapping his arms around me and giving me a kiss "I know I'm just nervous." I said "So am I But we are going to be parents. Now we better get going to we will be late" He said letting go of me.

We finally made it to the doctors office and signed in. The waiting room was filled with people who were pregnant who were either alone or with there husband/ boyfriend. We sat for about 20 minutes until my name was called by the nurse who took us back into another room. I got my vitals taken and some blood and had to pee in a cup and soon was left alone with Cole in our room. "I hate doctors" Cole said looking at me as I sat on the bed "Me too and I hate blood work" I said rubbing my arm that they had taken it from. "I wonder when the doctor is going to come" Cole said.
