Chapter Thirty

POV{ Birth}

Lili POV

"Cole!" I yelled from the bathroom "What what!" He said jumping up from the bed and running over to me. "My water broke!" I said smiling at him. "I'll get the bag and call the midwife!" He said running out of the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and held my baby bump in my hands and looked at myself. Today was the day she was going to be born. I picked up my phone and texted Cami and my mom to let them know what was happening even though it was almost 5am in the morning. I walked out of the bathroom and changed my clothes so I wasn't all wet and went into the living room to see Cole on the phone. "Okay thank you Bye." He said into the phone and then hung it up. "That was Laurel your midwife. She said to come on down and they will see if that was your water and then check how far along you are." He explained to me. "Okay well let's go" I said slipping on my slippers.

We arrived at the hospital and got our room. "Hello Lili my name is Dr.Stone and I will be taking care of you through your birth." The man said "Hello nice to meet you." I said shaking his hand "So you said that your water broke and so we are going to confirm that and then if you are at least at 3 centimeters we will put an Iv in and get you all set up with machines." He explained. "This is the nurse that will be checked you and taking care of you most of the time along side Laurel." He said pointing to a girl that was standing next to him. "Hello My name is Olivia." She said "Hello." I said back to her. I watched as the doctor walked out and Olivia came and checked if my water broke and looked at how many centimeters I was. "Your water did indeed break but you aren't at 3 centimeters but you are very close so we are just going to admit you and get you all hooked up to machines." She said smiling at me "Okay." I said nodding my head. I looked over at Cole who was sitting in the chair right next to me hold my hand. "I am so excited." He said smiling at me "Me too." I said.

Few hours later

It was now 10:32am and I was awoken by the sound of voices. I slowly opened my eyes and turned over to see Cole and Cami sitting talking. "Oh I'm sorry lili did we wake you up?" Cami asked standing and walking over towards me. "A little but I'm also hungry." I said sitting up and looking at them "What are you craving?" Cole asked "I really want a burger and French frys." I said smiling at him "I am on it." He said standing up and walking towards me "Thank you baby." I said giving him a kiss "Your welcome text me if you have any updates." He said and walked out of the room. "So how far along are you?" Cami asked taking a seat on the hospital bed. "I think 3 close to 4 I am not sure they checked like 3 hours ago." I said "Are you excited?" She asked "A little more nervous than anything. I'm scared to have to push and scared it might hurt." I said looking at her "Well I will be here to help you through it okay." She said grabbing my hand and squeezing it. "You know you are the best friend ever." I said smiling at her "Oh I know." She said flipping her hair which caused me to laugh "You are to much." I said "You know you love me!" She said

"Lili we aren't going to check you once again to see how far along and if you haven't got passed at least 4 by now we would like for you to walk around maybe take a shower to help induce it." Laurel said "Do you want me to leave for privacy?" Cami asked? "No you can stay." I said looking at her. "I will since Cole isn't back yet." She said. After Laurel checked she let me know I was 4 centimeter dilated and that I need to do some walking to try and speed it up. "Okay ready Lili?" Cami asked I nodded my head and stood up hanging onto Cami's arm. We started walking around the hospital floor that we were on and talked about how she is going to spoil Luna and that how she thought I could detach from these machines as I walked. Finally we made it to the room to see Cole
pacing back and forth with his hand on his head. "Baby you okay?" I asked him as we entered the room. "Oh my gosh I was worried sick I thought you were in the delivery room having her!" He said running up to me and giving me a tight hug. "Ow Cole your crushing me and the baby." I said as he squeezed me "Sorry!" He said letting go "Where did you go!?" He asked "I had to walk around Laurel said that it will help speed things up." I said "How many centimeters are you?" He asked helping me back to the bed to take a seat "4" I replied back. "6 more centimeters to go." He said taking a seat next to Cami. "They should come in soon to check again now where's my burger!" I said smiling "Here ya go" He said handing me the bag with the content in it. "Thanks baby."
