'You have ruined my families lives, and you thought you could just waltz in here and wreck them again? Sorry Robert, but no. I'm not sorry in fact, you can just get out. Now.' Robert looked disgusted as Alec approached him.
'Do you think I'm threatened by a gay piece of shit like you?'
'Robert!' Maryse interrupted, as she tried to push her way between the two hostiles. Alec looked and manoeuvred around her.
'Don't get involved Mum,' he glared at his father as they approached each other. 'You should be threatened Robert. I seem to remember that before you cheated on Maryse, you told her that I should be taught martial arts. Ten years later after first starting, I'm a third Dan karate black belt. I could beat your arse in a split second,'
'I'd like to see you try, you faggot,' Robert spat as he through a punch at Alecs' face. From behind him, Jace snorted as Alec caught the blow with ease.
'Please,' was all he said as he twisted Roberts' arm and spun it behind his back in an excruciating arm lock. Robert yelled in pain as Alec slowly turned his arm further. 'Listen Robert, because I'm only going to tell you once. I'm going to hold your arm in this painful position until you are out of my families house. Your then going to get into your car, and never come back. Otherwise, I'll break your arm,'
'I'll go to the police!' he threatened. Alec scoffed.
'I'll say it was self-defense,'
'They wont believe you!'
'Really? Who will they believe then? A cheating scum, or an innocent eighteen-year-old boy whose family is well-respected with two witnesses?' There was a pause and Jace, Maryse and Alec smiled. Robert had been beaten. 'Thought so,' Alec and Robert had reached the still- open door, and Robert stumbled as his son shoved him through it. 'Don't ever, threaten my family again,' and with that, Alec slammed the door and turned to face his mother and brother. They all stood in silence for a moment as the impact of what Alec had just done sunk in. He was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion, and felt tears rush up to his eyes. He didn't know why, but he knew he needed some space.
'Alec hun, whats- ' Maryse was interrupted.
'I just need some space Mum,' Alec said.
'We're here if you need us bro,' Jace reassured, and Alec just nodded in recognition and mumbled quietly,
'I know,' He then pushed past them slightly and ran up too his room, just in time for the tears to start pouring.
Alec had laid on his bed sobbing for about five minutes before he thought of somebody that would understand what he was going through. Magnus. Without thinking, Alec pulled out his out his phone and clicked on Magnus' contact. Thank God he gave me his number he thought as the ringtone he knew all too well broke the silence in his room. After what seemed like forever, a familiar voice as smooth as silk rang out of Alecs' phone.
'Hey, who is this?' Magnus asked. Alec stopped sniffling and cleared his voice
'Hey, I-its Alec. Alexander. From music?'
'I know, your very hard to forget Alexander. I didn't think you would ring so soon though,' he said, slightly amused.
'Thanks, I think, and, neither did I. I know its a bit forward, but something's happened at home and the first person I want to see, is you...' Alec drifted off, not knowing what else to say, or how to explain.
'That's cute Alexander darling, thank you. Could you tell me what's happened?' Magnus was strangely reassuring for somebody he had just met.
'Well, I'm currently sobbing on my bed if that helps?'
'Oh shit, I'm coming over now, what's your postcode?' Alec and Magnus exchanged details for a minute before Alec said goodbye.
'Drive carefully, OK?' he said. He cared for this man a lot, even if he didn't admit it out loud, and losing him to reckless driving would be heart-breaking.
'Of course Alexander, you be careful too, yeah?' he replied.
'Yeah,' Alec said softly and hung up. He now had to try an collect himself before Magnus arrived, and with the tears still falling, it wasn't going to be easy.
After a few minutes, Alec gave up. He eyes were still flooded, and his body-racking sobs were not helping. He had decided to just look terrible, and to wait for his gorgeous friend to arrive, knowing that he really wouldn't care whether he was tidy or not. He was lying on his bed when he heard a car pull up at his driveway, and his heart skipped a beat. He probably should go to the door, but his mother was downstairs, and it would be nice of them too meet quickly. As he heard the doorbell ring and a conversation start between Magnus and Maryse, he rolled on to his side and tried to calm his breathing. He didn't know why exactly he was worried, maybe because Magnus was in his house, or maybe because of his actions with his father. He was still trying when he heard a knock at his bedroom door.
'Alexander?'
'Come in Magnus,' he mumbled. The door opened slowly to reveal Magnus dressed in black leather pants, a red-button down shirt and a leather jacket. His hair was spiked as usual, but his eyes lacked the usual shadow, and a thin black wing was all that decorated his lids. He gasped as he slid into the room.
'Hey handsome. I mean, I expected you to look bad, not shirtless,' Magnus grinned. Alec looked confusedly at him, before he gestured down. Alec looked to where he had gestured and groaned at his bare chest. He must have forgotten to put a t-shirt on after he was trying to tidy himself up. His chest was smooth and firm, and his abs wonderfully sculpted. His biceps were strong and rounded, and just the sight of his bare body made Magnus' heart skip a beat. Alec looked at the other man and blushed terribly as Magnus walked over and sat on the end of the bed. Alec sat up and rubbed his eyes.
'I'm sorry, I've been so out of my mind...'
'Don't apologise, it's great,' Magnus' eyes travelled up and down his chest and Alec chuckled.
'My eyes are up here,' he continued to blush.
'I know, and they're just as amazing,' Their eyes met and they smiled at each other. 'Tell me what's happened,' and that's just what Alec did. By the time the explanation had finished, Magnus and Alec were both lying on the double bed. Alec had rested his head against Magnus' chest as he had talked, and had looked up into Magnus' intriguing eyes as he played with his silky black hair.
'I'm so tired Magnus,' Alec said softly.
'I know you are hun, just rest, ok?' Magnus replied with his reassuring voice.
'Please don't go Magnus,'
'I'm not going anywhere Alexander,' but he only just heard this, as he drifted off into a difficult sleep.
