I look up and see that.. Father.. He was running away.

Why don't I.. Why don't I follow him?

I want to find out why he really left and he better apologize to Mom for leaving.

I run after him from one oath to another until I stopped when I hear something rustling behind me.

I feel my fears climb up my shoulders as I feel drops of sweat drop down my forehead.

I try to walk again when I feel that it's okay to go on but I feel something stop me and I see arms starting to wrap around me, with a white cloth being placed on my mouth.

In that second, I drop to the ground, looking up I see my Father giggle.

My vision became blurry and everything begins to fade as I close my eyes.

I shake my head as I open my eyes, seeing a more clearer image now.

I look up, with confusion, I was no longer outside.. But inside of a TRUCK?!

I try to move but every time I try I fall to the surface of the ground of the truck.

My hands were tied together with tight ropes, around my chest and stomach too.

I was laying on the ground with my hands tied together and on the side if my body.

"Errgh!" I say in pain.

I see another person in this truck who was crying in pain, next to the guy was my guitar.

"Hey.. Man! Man!" I call out to the man.

He looks at me with tired and baggy eyes, "what.. Do you want?"

"My.. My guitar!" I reply.

"I'm not allowed to." He says.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!" I angrily yell.

"Even if I wanted to.. The man with the pointed beard will come back and hit me again!" He says, scared.

"Again?" I question.

"He gave me cuts across my cheek because I saved a few young girls a few months ago." He turns his cheek to show me.

My Father did that? He caused all this trouble, he hit people, he kidnapped other kids, including me?!

Tears start to flow in my eyes, I squeeze my eyes together making the tears drop.

I look at the man carefully, "he's my Father. I'm so sorry!"

My heart begins to burn up as the man begins to cry.

"My name is Xeric. I'm probably about your age."

He's my age?! Does that mean he's a.. Teenager!

"I'm Luka." I introduce myself. "Now that I'm here, I won't allow us to be scared anymore. We won't cry a river, a river of sadness."

He smiles, "I hope so."

"If you don't mind me.. Asking, where are we going?" I wonder.

"To the airport."

My eyes widen and my heart beats loud.

"We're going to be shipped off to another country."

What?!

Marinette's P.O.V

Two days have already passed and there is still no sign of Luka. I wonder we're he went.

As I see Juleka enter the classroom I stop her by grabbing her hand. She looks at me.

"Marinette, what's wrong?"

"Where's your brother?" I ask. "I mean, he's been gone for so long."

"Can we talk about this during break?"

There's something definitely going on here. I will find out.

As soon as this lesson was finished, I grab Juleka and pull her downstairs to the theater to ask her some questions.

"Where is he?"

She was silent and did not answer my question.

"WHERE IS LUKA?!" I yell with the pain in my heart. "Where is he?"

"The thing is." She starts to say. "I tried calling since the past two days but he did not answer!"

I look away from her when I feel my cheeks starting to get warmer and redder.

I feel her place her hand on my shoulder, "Marinette, I know that you care for my brother."

This time I did not fear nodding and saying 'yes'.

I look at her.

"My brother is gone and I'll find him."

I take her hand off my shoulder and hold it in my hands, "we'll find him.. Together."

She nods and we hug tightly as I feel my tears roll down my cheeks.

Heavy tears and a pain within my heart.

I love you too, Luka.
