NINETEEN

After having been shown our rooms, Minseok very kindly helped Kyungsoo and I unpack our belongings. The rooms were now our own and we felt most comfortable in them. I was glad that we had managed to focus mainly on the unpacking today since my mind had been so filled with the possibility of seeing Chanyeol, since early this morning before we even arrived at the house.

Since we had worked through lunch and were only able to stop when Minseok brought us slices of orange and a cup of coffee. It was a short break and work followed after but now we were getting hungry and the more our tummies made noise the more we craved.

Since not all the opponents of the house had arrived yet the house didn't have any food in it, meaning once everyone arrived we all would have to go grocery shopping. But it also meant that we (the three of us here and now) would be ordering from a fast food place.

Minseok had left to call Sehun to double check if any other housemates would be coming today, so we would have enough food for them if they arrived.

"He said there is no one scheduled to come till the day after tomorrow so I guess it's just us" he smiled putting his phone back into his jean pockets.

"That's great, we can get to know each other a bit more than" Kyungsoo smiled sitting himself down on his legs, on the floor.

"You two do that I'll call the pizza place" I stated grabbing the house phone and pushing in the numbers from the leaflet we found in the kitchen. After explaining to the girl about our food choices, A 12 inch pizza, three bags of chips, three medium cokes and the 6 cookies that you get when you spend over 20 dollars (Which i was really happy about figuring out).

"Kay, Pizza is ordered!" I giggled bumping the phone back into it's little holder and jumping back into the conversation that was unfolding before me. "A total of 35 dollars".

"At least it's free, thanks to Sehun" Minseok giggled getting up and walking towards the fireplace.

Kyungsoo immediately found my eye contact and lets just say I knew he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him at that point. "Sorry come again?"

"Sehun just told me on the phone to use the house cash, he said something about making you happy and comfortable so he said the food was on him"

Kyungsoo was like a gabbing fish at the end of it. No words would come out of his lips, yet I couldn't help but secretly smirk, I knew my best friend was loving every moment of this really weird situation.

"So Sehun has a little crush on my best friend which means that I get free food tonight?" I asked with a small smile, knowing how i was slowly starting to embarrass Kyungsoo that bit more.

"I guess" Minseok laughed "Although I'm not sure if Sehun is even capable of dating right now"

"Oh how come?" Kyungsoo wondered, yet I knew he was just curious.

"He has had alot of bad relationships before and I guess he choices the wrong guys, I just hope that he doesn't do it again" Minseok admitted with a sigh, his fingers looping around the back of the painting hung on the wall over the fireplace.

"You seem to know alot about him" Minseok nodded and opened the safe that was hidden behind the painting.

"He was my next door neighbour when we were younger, he was a really sweet kid"

"You're English?"

Minseok chuckled shaking his head while closing and looking the safe again, a 20 dollar bill in hand as well as a 10 and 5 dollar bill too (We don't need to include tips). "I was for a couple years till my family was relocated, I have a military family so we moved around alot, but I'm completely Korean"

"Only child" Kyungsoo announced his hand raised, it came as a shock to me at first that he was even considering opening up to Minseok about his family but we had gotten along so well already that I managed to get over it pretty soon.

"No Dad" I nodded, my hand shooting up to join with Kyung's in the air. Minseok sent us each a small smile before joining us in sitting down once again. I never really had enough courage to talk about my past because it was one of shame and neglect, I left that in the back of my mind due to the fact I wasn't ready to unfold my life just yet.

"I miss him terribly but I know this is his dream and I need to respect that" Kyungsoo smiled sadly, thinking about the idea of Kai and how he was more than likely in his hotel room sound asleep right now.

I however, felt completely different. Something in the pit of my stomach said that Kai was in bed but not so much asleep, obviously I wasn't going to share my thoughts with Kyungsoo because I didn't want to worry my best friend, but I couldn't shake these feelings.

"What about you Baek, do you have anyone in your love life?"

"Yes he does and he's part of the house mates we'll be meeting soon" Kyungsoo interrupted, a hand on my shoulder, while smiling evilly, his eyes shone with the Devil within him.

"OoooOooo who is he?" Minseok pressed his eyes shining with wonder and excitement.

Turning back to Kyungsoo I sent him a glare and he seemed to take my hint, however that didn't stop his evil ways. "Park Chanyeol the American YouTuber, his name on YouTube is-"

"Real underscore pcy right?" Minseok questione earning an eager nod from my so called 'best friend'.

"It's nothing, he means nothing to me and I mean nothing to him, we aren't even friends" I stated, yet the pain in my heart was making itself known, not that I would explain about that to anyone.

"Really? He means nothing to you?" Minseok wondered, a brow raised "I also grew up knowing Chanyeol, he's a very warm and considerate person yet he's very shy"

"Shy?! Are we talking about the same person here? Park Chanyeol is not shy in anyway"

The look Minseok sent me was filled with confusion and amazement, surely the Park Chanyeol he was talking about was not the one I had been talking too for the past couple days, right? Maybe he could two confused.

"Well the Park Chanyeol I'm talking about does gaming videos but doesn't really have a concept for his channel"

My jaw dropped, that was the same person. My Chanyeol and the Chanyeol he was talking about were the same person. But why was he shy when in reality he was nothing like that with me.

"Maybe he really likes you and doesn't show his shy side" Kyungsoo imputed earning a nod and wink from Minseok. I couldn't help but giggle at their actions. Maybe they were right? Maybe Chanyeol does like me, but the question is do I like him?
