"so, when are you confessing to tae?" sulha rolled her eyes at the quiet soon that mumbled out of hyosun as she laid across her best friend's legs. the two were hanging out in their dorm, spread across the large king bed that had become their favorite space within 2 days.
"i swear to sweet jesus, that you've had this crush for- when did you first realize you were in love again?"
sulha grinned at the small "freshmen year" that hyosun's voice whined out, a bit muffled because of the pillow in the brunette's face.
"so, 13? sweet hell, that's 4 years." the korean canadian exhales, the exchange of thoughts flowing through the air.
"and you still love him?"
"yep."
--
"yep, its too hot for jeans." hoseok groaned, one hand patting the side of his thighs while the other was fanning and brushing through his bright hair.
"your fault for dressing like a whole fuckboy," jungkook grinned as he flaunted his outfit consisting of border shorts and the usual white shirt.
that day the gang had visited the city to eat at the busan trio's favorite restaurant for dinner. the sky was golden as the afternoon glow rested itself on the land below, gleaming off windows as the gang rode through the summer roads on penny boards and skates.
the day was sweet and was filled with summer fun as hyosun and sulha raced towards their destination, slipping through gaps of crowds and cars while enjoying the sensation of the wind whipping in their hair. the whole gang was finally altogether, the 9 of them hanging out, fully relaxed for the first time since final exams had started.
once they arrived at the restaurant, hyosun breathed in the familiar smell that she had yearned for during her last months in school. she glanced at the girl beside her, who was busy chatting away with Min Yoongi, one of their close friends. sulha was talking animatedly as the blonde boy lazily started down at the girl who was nearly snuggled up into his side. hyosun grinned as she saw a spark of admiration in the boy's eyes as he chuckled at one of sulha's small yelps.
long things short; hyosun was jealous at how casual sulha was in front of her crush.
--
after the third wheeling ride that hyosun took, and the silly conversations she and hoseok had, the group of 9 started to order drinks, and a colorful variety. hyosun stared hesitantly at the drinks that were set on the table in front of her, small cups of soji spilling over as the holders were laughing or swinging side to side. the girl couldn't help but giggle at the boy next to her who seemed to be long gone from sober.
"hobi needs another! hobi hobi wants moreeee~" hoseok referred to himself in third person as he clinked his glass against the table, pouting cutely while doing so.
"hobi wants more what?" hyosun joined in on the act, enjoying it as she was the only one fully sober out of the 9. she laughed as the tangerine haired boy lifted his arm limply and pointed at one of the multiple bright green bottles on the table in front of him. hyosun grinned as she swung the bottle side to side, amused at the way the boy's relaxed eyes followed the clear liquid slosh around the walls through the green colored glass. the girl poured the boy another drink, yelping at the speed of the consummation of the clear but highly intoxicating drink. she was about to say something else until she felt a chin fall on her right shoulder, bringing her form slightly down.
"sun sun should drink, sun sun do drinnnnk!" sulha slurred her words as she rested her head on hyosun's shoulders, heavily drunk as well.
"no thanks, not today- i think i've been passed the role of a designated guide." hyosun chuckled as she saw 2 other friends; jungkook and taehyung near to passing out as they held onto their cups in their hands for their dear lives.
