Chapter Five | Confessing

Y/N's POV:

I sank into the bed as I thought of Daniel. Daniel. He's just so cute. His squeaky voice, his green hair, his sense of humor, just everything about him makes him cute. I stared at the ceiling. "Oh Daniel. If only you knew that I loved you as much as I used to..." I sighed.

"I wish you knew how I feel the same way." I heard Daniel's voice. "Daniel?!" I shot up. "Yeah. It's me." He smiled. Weird. He's not stuttering, blushing or anything. "Alright what did Dottie do to you?" I jokingly asked.

"Nothing. Can't a be nice every once in a while?" No it's not that. "No, no. It's just, you're not blushing or stuttering. It's just not you." I laughed. "Whatever. I just had a weird confidence boost, but I guess it went away." He looked away, blushing.

"That's the Daniel I know." I got up and walked to the door. I was hungry and wanted food. I felt a confidence boost inside me for some reason. I slightly pecked him on the cheek, and walked out the door to get food.

"That totally wasn't awkward at all." Dottie laughed. "Yeah, yeah." I laughed with her. "So, you guys been talking lately?" She asked, winking. "Yes, but there's nothing between us..." I told her as I finally approached the kitchen.

"Seriously, what's the deal? Do you hope that you guys will date in the near future?" She asked. "No. Actually, how about you and Blaze. Do you hope you'll date in the near future?" I asked, forgetting that Dottie is very blunt about her answers.

"Yeah. But we're talking about you here!" She laughed. We talked about it, and I finally got my food. "So have you confessed to him yet?" Dottie asked. "I mean, I kinda confessed to him on accident." I grit my teeth. "Accident?" She looked confused.

"Long story..." I sighed.
