Chapter Twenty Eight | The Flight Back Home

"I'm just saying that the earth is flat and cats bark!" I argued.

"You gotta be kidding me..." Aaron sighed. "We're here!!" Daniel pointed out.

As the other helicopters landed, I took the time to get used to my surroundings.

Everyone got out, and the pilots went off.

"Now that we're here, over there is Derek's private jet." Ein pointed.

"Wait! We forgot Maria!" Aph pointed out.

"Oh! No, no. She's with Michael. If they succeed in what they were planning before Zach and I left, I don't think they'll be leaving." He sighed.

"What were they planning?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Nothing much. They just want to destroy every island on Starlight and then destroy us later." He casually shrugged.

"Oh ok. Wait.... What?" I realized what he said.

"Never mind. We just need to go before Michael finds out where we are." Ein started to lead us to the jet.

"Are you sure you want to trust him?" Daniel asked as he put his arm around me.

"Absolutely." I nodded.

"So we're actually escaping..." I laughed.

"I told you that you could trust me!" Ein smiled.

"I guess you were right, Y/N." Aph stated.

"Since when did I get something wrong?" I grinned.

"On every answer on every test back in high school." Aaron chuckled.

"At least I didn't get detention, like, 5000 times!" I pouted.

"You're right about that. Though you did get detention about 5 times.."

"Wait! Y/N getting detention? That doesn't sound like her at all!" Zane gasped.

"Yeah! Even Kawaii~Chan is surprised!" Kawaii~Chan nodded.

"You learn something new everyday." I stretched and laid back in my seat.

"You know what?! Y/N should move into our neighborhood! That way, she can be closer to her boyfriend." Dottie teased.

"He's not my boyfriend, Dottie!" Though I want him to be.

"Well... We could change that!" Daniel had a weird, dopey smile on his face.

"We could. Maybe." I joked. "Oh! We should tell you who's staying with who just in case you do move into our neighborhood!" Blaze pointed out.

"Right! So.. Aph and Aaron are staying together. Zane, Laurence, and Garroth. Dante and Travis. Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn. And Blaze, Daniel and I." Dottie listed.

"If I moved in the neighborhood, where would I go though?"

"Stay with us!" Blaze jumped. "Wouldn't 4 be too crowded though?" I giggled.

"You're right..." Dottie winked at Daniel, trying to signal something.

"Oh right! Y/N... When we land, I have to ask you something." Daniel remembered whatever he remembered.

"Alright." I nodded
