Chapter Eight | The Kiss

I was sipping my tea while making this. Get your tea ready!!

Daniel's POV:

"Oh?" I asked. A meifwa? Having a crush on a werewolf?! "Yeah. After seeing her now, she's just so beautiful." He started to space out. "Yeah. I know." I said quickly. "Now. Come on in. I'll get Y/N." I let the meifwa in and slammed the door. What if he tries to make a move on her?!

Y/N's POV:

I was getting comfy in my bed when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled, still half asleep. "Y/N. Your friend is here." He said. "Oh. Tell him I'll be down in a minute." I slowly got up. I kept falling back down because the waterbed was too comfortable to get out of.

After a minute or two, I finally got out. I ran downstairs because I felt like I kept Kai waiting for a long time. "Kai! I'm so sorry I kept you waiting. The bed was just so comfortable, and.." He cut me off. "Calm down. It's fine. I wasn't waiting long." He laughed. His laugh is the same as ever. Hasn't changed since college.

"By the way, who was that werewolf with the green hair. I don't think he likes me that much." He frowned. "Oh. That's Daniel. He's not used to me being friends with meifwa besides Kawaii~Chan." I laughed. "Ah. Okay. I think it's because I used to have a crush on you and I told him that you look beautiful." He smiled. Of course.

"I think he may be a little jealous." I nervously laughed. "Really? Jealous of me? He stands more of a chance than I do." He laughed. "Don't say that. You'll find someone someday." I smiled. "Yeah, but the person I want is right in front of me." He sighed. "I'm sorry, but I don't like you like that." I frowned.

Daniel's POV:

I know I shouldn't, but I was spying on Kai and Y/N. I saw Kai getting a little too close to her. "Hey Daniel!" What are you doing?" Dottie showed up. "I... um... I'm not doing anything!" I looked away. "Are you... spying on Y/N!?" She gasped dramatically. "Um... maybe?" I felt the heat on my face.

"You totally are! What's interesting? Is she with someone?" She asked. "She's with an old friend of hers, and they're getting a little too close." I sighed. "Ooooo! Let me see!" She pushed me out of her way, and looked around the corner. "Looks like they're getting more than close." She said nervously. "WHAT!?" I whisper-yelled. I looked around to see Kai kissing Y/N. Wait. HE'S KISSING HER?!

Okay. What I'm going to do, is I'm going to pretend I don't know what happened, walk in, and let her know I caught her. I walked around without being seen, and started to pretend I was walking down the stairs. "Y/N!?" I yelled. "Daniel! He kissed me! I swear!" She looked really nervous. "I'm sorry. It's my fault. I kissed her, I really like her, I don't know what came over me." He sighed.

"I'll leave." He got up and left. "Yeah! You better!" I yelled at him. I was just so... mad. "I'm going to get some food." Y/N sighed. She also got up and left. Did I just ruin my chances with her? I tried to hold back the tears that were forming in my eyes. I couldn't, and I just let all the tears roll down my face.

Dottie's POV:

Poor Daniel. He was crying so much, I felt like he was going to turn the house into a 5ft pool. I need to go talk to Y/N and tell her how bad Daniel feels.
