"So is the only reason you wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel because you wanted to see the fireworks better?" I asked, grinned.
"Y-Yeah!" Daniel put on a fake smile.
"Really?" I teased. "Y-Yes really!" He laughed. I still didn't believe him.
"The fireworks are about to start!" He quickly changed the subject.
I was mesmerized by how beautiful the fireworks were. We stopped at the top and the view was amazing.
"Y/N... Can I ask you something?" Daniel squeaked. "Of course. What's up?" I questioned.
"Well... ever since I saw you again on Starlight, the feelings I had for you in high school... they came back. So... Um....
Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, slowly. "Yes!" I smiled and hugged him. Little did I know that the hug would soon turn into a kiss.
I guess it was meant to be. We haven't seen each other for years, yet our feelings for each other stayed.
It really was love at first bork.
