Waking up, Jason was met with the sight of a knocked over trashcan. After blinking a few times to register that he indeed was seeing correctly he came to the conclusion he was also hanging halfway off a bed, and could smell bacon. Groaning, he pushed himself back into the bed and sat up, looking around he spotted the water and Advil slowly he reached over to get it. When suddenly the bed dipped. He looked up quickly to see a brunette with deep brown eyes jumping on the mattress, flailing around like a fool.
"Morning Hun, want some breakfast and therapy?"
"Hey Mon, I take it I called Tyler last night?" Jason croaked out as he went back to the water and Advil.
"Sure did, you pulled a humdinger last night and scared Sugar britches half to death, although he didn't drop you this time." Monica exclaimed as she continued bouncing around.
Jason laughed, "That was four years ago Mon."
"Not my fault I'm a beast" she said as she made her way back to the kitchen leaving Jason shaking his head at her.
The only way to describe Monica was a spitfire wrapped in a sugar tornado. She was fiercely protective of those that she loved, talked a mile a minute, and to those who didn't know her she had an ego larger than Texas. All wrapped up in a petite 5' 5" package of curves, brunette hair and deep brown eyes. She had the innocent look of an angel with the personality of a devil. She was perfect for Tyler. Once he had made it to the kitchen Jason was greeted by a large plate of biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon with a glass of orange juice. Staring at it he wondered if he needed that much food.
"After alcohol a greasy breakfast usually will perk you up." Tyler stated as he sat down to his own heaping plate. "Then again who could say no to Mons version of a southern breakfast."
Jason sighed and sat down digging into the mound of food.
" So, not that we care, just curious here but why didn't you call Megan?" Mon asked as she leaned against the counter sipping her coffee.
Jason nearly choked on his food, he knew the question was coming he just didn't expect it as the first one."When I got home, I watched her and Terrence getting it on for a minute before booking it out of there." He mumbled clenching his fork.
When he looked up he saw Tyler with his mouth hanging open with shock. Whereas Monica calmly sat her cup in the sink and quietly walked out of the room. Jason looked back to his plate, he was just starting to tear up when he and Tyler were shocked by the sound of a engine and a vehicle peeling out of the drive. They both shot up and got to the window just in time to see Monica turn a corner on her Harley.
"SHIT!" Tyler screamed as he went to get his keys. "GET IN THE FUCKING CAR!" He yelled running through the house on his way out the door.
Jason was hot on his heels although slightly confused. "Where is she going, and when did she have a bike?" He asked as he was buckling his seat belt.
Tyler sighed once again as he peeled out after his wife "She kinda used to be part of a gang, and she is going to your apartment... she didn't want anyone to know, about the gang, she wanted to be normal. But that motorcycle has been equipped with a shit ton of weapons."
Jason looked at his friend in shock watching him weave in and out of traffic trying to catch a mad woman. A gang, wow that was unexpected, Mon was always quiet about her past and now her brute strength and random tattoos made sense. Looking out the windshield he could see her down the road, there was no way they could catch up to her, she was flying like the devil was on her heels. Megan better hope she's not home he thought.
Over in the driver's seat Tyler just kept repeatedly saying " shit, shit, shit."
A little while later they pulled in up to Jason's apartment, to see the Harley sideways on the grass and his door kicked in. Getting out of the car Tyler ran inside, while Jason slowly walked towards the door slightly in shock as he heard yelling echoing out of his once home. Nothing could prepare him for the sight he encountered though.Walking through the door Jason had to stop and take it in. Terrence was sitting on the floor with blood gushing from his nose, and Tyler was trying to drag Monica away from a very terrified Megan who was pinned against the wall, there was furniture overturned everywhere and the lamp he had always hated was shattered on the floor. Mon had truly fucked shit up. Jason couldn't help but to start laughing at how ridiculous it all looked the tiny spitfire had decided to come to his rescue, and scared the shit out of a man twice as big as her.
" Let me go, this bitch need to be taught a lesson." Monica growled struggling against Tyler's grip
"No, you will fucking kill her" Tyler growled back
"Guys its really not worth all of this," Jason sighed he was starting to get a headache from the emotional roller coaster he was riding. "How about this, Mon you stay here and keep these guys in this room, without hurting them, and Ty you help me pack so we can get out of here and I wont ever have to come back?"
For a moment everyone was still as they contemplated what he said. Slowly Monica nodded and Tyler cautiously let her go. Terrence stayed absolutely still along with Megan. As quickly as they could the guys went through the apartment shoving things into trash bags while both Megan and Terrence has been ordered to the couch with a still angry Monica glaring at them daring them to twitch. After putting all his things in Tyler's car and reassuring the neighbors that there was nothing to worry about Jason went inside to get his friends.
By this point Terrence had the decency to look ashamed and Megan was in tears. He quickly looked around to make sure he didn't leave anything behind. Then he dug out the title to the apartment and signed it over to Megan. It hurt a little, apartments were not cheap especially ground floor. But he also knew how it was to be homeless and even though they both betrayed him, he couldn't put two people on the street. Leaving the paperwork on the kitchen counter he made his way to the door pausing slightly in the entrance.
"I signed the apartment over to you guys, please get the name changed soon. Just leave the cops out of this, and please just don't contact me again. I don't care why you guys did what you did, it happened and I am done with both of you." With that he joined his friends outside and they all made their way back to the quiet house in the suburbs.
