(Jasons POV)

Time seemed to fly quickly, since the breakfast incident two weeks had come and gone. Reese and I had fallen into a comfortable rhythm around my house and he helped me out a lot with the little things. Reese had taken over the cooking and most of the chores, thats not to say I didnt do anything I just ended up with the easy stuff that he thought I could accomplish with one arm. Basically, he has become a mother hen, currently I was standing outside waiting on Bruce to finish his business. It was my job to take Bruce out and give him food and water since Reese was cooking and cleaning for me, he was always watching with an iron fist. Once I attempted to grab my laundry basket and Reese screeched at me until I put It down because apparently, I was prolonging the healing and being an inconvenience.

As Bruce made another lap around the yard sniffing, I sighed, Yes, we had reached a comfortable rhythm, but Reese treated me like an idiot who was always in the way. It was kind of annoying to deal with his snarky comments, I didnt ask to have his dog attack me and it wasnt my choice for him to stay here Tyler said he volunteered. I shivered a little in the cool morning air, it was around five in the morning and I couldnt sleep. I decided that even though I am grateful for all the help, I was done with the attitude Reese could either tell me his problem or get out of my house. I could hire a temporary maid and cook, I wasnt hurting for money Trixie would be happy to interview people for me. I shivered again as Bruce seemed to contemplate a certain patch of grass, looking at my watch I noticed We have been out here for almost an hour. Leaving the glass doors wide open I walked inside to grab a cup of coffee, I wasnt worried about Bruce getting out the yard had a completely new reinforced fence sealing it away from the rest of the world. I was mid pour when I heard my resident banshee start screeching at me, with a sigh I went about fixing my cup of coffee and responded to his questions.

What do you think your doing Jason?

Well, Reese I took a sip I think I was making a cup of coffee.

And where is Bruce?

Outside, yet inside the best reinforced fence money can buy

You cant just leave him outside alone, he could wander off and get hurt Jesus its common-sense Jason.

I carefully sat my mug down on the counter and looked at him Well if it wasnt for this scintillating conversation I would have already been back outside with Bruce, I was cold having been outside for almost an hour waiting on him to take a shit. I merely stepped inside with the intent to make a hot cup of coffee to drink outside while I continued waiting. I left the doors open, and that fence out there really is the best money can buy. Bruce wont even be able to dig his way out because there is a concrete slab for a square foot under that thing.

Brushing by him I went back outside to check on Bruce who met me at the door apparently finished. Ushering him in I sealed the doors and headed back to my coffee, that had unfortunately been dumped down the drain. Seeing my coffee cup in the drying rack was the straw that broke the camels back, Reese was acting worse than any woman I had ever dealt with. I was a grown man for fucks sake I didnt need someone to control my fucking life and he poured out my coffee. I will repeat he poured out my fucking coffee, glancing over at the pot I noticed that even though a few moments ago it was full the clear glass was void of any hint of the dark nectar of life. He poured out ALL my coffee, time for him to get the fuck out.

Taking a deep breath, I went to my room and got dressed I had a doctors appointment in a couple hours. After brushing my teeth, I grabbed my phone and called Trixie leaving her a voicemail to hire me a temporary maid, cook, and driver. It was time to clear the clutter. I grabbed my bag that held a book, my wallet, and my medical records, it was basically a purse for a man, but I only used it due to the whole one arm thing. Readjusting my sling I called for a taxi and was met with 5 foot 10 inches of sass that I was not in the mood to deal with.

Where are you going, your doctors appointment is in an hour. We dont have the time for your games right now Jason.

I stopped and gawked at him, my games what fucking game am I playing? The Let your dog attack me game? Drawing myself up to my full six foot eight, I leveled him with the most menacing glare I could muster up causing him to flinch back and Bruce to come scurrying into the room. Mustering the coldest voice, I could I began to let Reese know exactly how I was feeling.

My games Reese? I dont believe I am familiar with what you are implying the last time I checked this was my house. The last time I checked I was Twenty-seven not seven years old. I run a business and I dont need someone to run my life. I have no clue what kind of games you think I have been playing abut let me assure you I have been playing none whatsoever and I would appreciate it if you would either get your shit together and get out or reevaluate the way you have been acting towards me. I did not ask for your dog to bite me although I can understand his intent to protect. You volunteered yourself to come into MY home and help where I need it, I did not volunteer to be harangued and harassed constantly. So, while I am at my doctors appointment you can either quit being a rude little shit or get the fuck out. And with that I breezed by him and got into my cab heading off to the doctors to see if the cast could come off early.
