HUNTER

Last night was okay. Becky let me stay with her parents.

I'm missing school today so I can find an apartment complex to live in.

I wake up, reluctantly getting out of bed.

I stroll to the kitchen, to be greeted by Becky's parents.

"Hola." Mary, Beckys Mum, greets me. When I told them that I fluently speak Spanish, they talk to me in Spanish now.

"Buenos días!" I greet them. (good morning)
I make myself some breakfast then go upstairs.

I change into a Vans hoodie and grey jeans, then slide on some pink Adidas shoes.

I've already told Mary that I'm moving out today, so I grab my suitcases and go to my car.

I throw my black suitcase in my trunk then go to my front door.

I go to an apartment complex that I've been looking at and enter to the reception.

"Hello, Miss. How may I help you?" An old lady asks.

"Hey, um I'd like to rent an apartment." I say.

She nods and gives me some sheets to sign. I sit in the chair and sign them all then hand them back to the lady.

"Thank you," she says reading the sheets, "..Miss. Parker."

I smile and she hands me a key, "room 128"

I nod and go to the Lift.

As I go in, a young boy with blondish hair walks in.

"Hey." I hear him say.

I look up into his eyes, god he's attractive.

"Um, hi." I say shyly.

"What's your name?" He asks.

"Hunter, you?" I say.

"Nate. Did you just move in, because I've never seen anyone so beautiful before?" He asks.

I blush at his complement.

"Thank you, and yes. Um, long story short I broke up with my boyfriend and I was living with him so yeah."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Well, what apartment are you?" He asks.

"Um, 128, you?"

"No way! I'm 130!" He says excitedly.

I giggle at his cuteness.

"Awesome. Maybe we could hang out sometime." I ask.

"I wouldn't like it any other way." He smiles, showing his pearly white teeth.

"See you later, cutie." He says, as the lift makes a stop.

"Bye." I say. We end up walking the same way because we live on the same row. We laugh as i stop at my door.

"Okay, actually bye now." He laughs.

I wave before shutting the door.

The apartment was beautiful. It had black-marble counters with beautifully painted white walls.

I fell in love.

I went to my bedroom and set up all off my stuff.

About 8 hours later, everything was set up.

The moving truck had brought my bed and stuff.

Becky helped me with most off this so I owe her a lot.
