"Hey, Katherine." Mum softly says as I step out from the car. I turn and see her smile. I always loved seeing my mum smile and since Carrie Ann passed away, it was something rare. "Goodluck." She says as I smile back. It was my first day at a new school. Apparently, we had to move out since we didn't had enough money to pay for the electricity in Leeds. We moved into a small city in the United Kingdom, peaceful but I couldn't go to Carrie Ann as much as I could.
Mum and Dad splitted a month ago, my dad couldn't "take it" anymore. Bullshit. He moved to Ireland with his redhead slut, Morris, some half french, half slut woman. Mum didn't cared at first but she realised she really loved him, although they never said "I love you" since Carrie Ann passed away. It was some sort of Dad's fault that she died. The doctor told my parents she needs meds and treatments but dad said that he'll cure her, voodoo methods. Bullshit, again.
"Goodbye, mum." I say as I wave to her and get out from the car. The school looks nice, no badasses here like in Leeds, which is good. I have always been the bullied girl at school for my "dificulties" in life. The blame was also on me because Carrie Ann died, well, it wasn't my fault. I tried to be a good sister, overall, and I think I did a great job.
Shyly walking towards the school has always been my routine. That's how I try to avoid any bullies, and it seems that here, I might be a bit too shy.
As I slowly take the paper where I have my class, I still can not figure out where to go. Great. Late on the first day. I sigh to myself and curse under my breath until I see a tall brunette boy.
"Um, excuse me but could you please tell me where Mrs. Woods class is?" I shyly say, overwhelmed with his beauty.
He has brunette hair with blonde shades, dark green eyes with a bit of blue, plumb lips, and... dimples. Oh My, I love boys who have dimples.
"Oh well hello there." He says, his accent being amazing. "You're lucky I have to go in the same class.. Follow me."
I simply just nod and go after him. He looks back to see if I am still following him and he smirks. "I see you're stalking me."
"No, I'm not." I softly say, gasping.
"I'm Noah Rogers, incase you're wondering who this mystery boy is. Purely australian but moved in the United Kingdom for the sake of the Cold Weather." Explain his awesome accent.
"I'd say that's a bit offensive for us, British Children, but I honestly don't care."
He ignores my rude statement and asks "And you're?"
"Katherine Holls, moved from Leeds, born in Leeds."
"Interesting story, Miss Holls." He says as he takes my hand and kisses it.
Uh-huh, cliché.
"So... Shall we go to class? Since we're twenty minutes late, I think we should not hurry at all." Oh damn, his sophistication kills me.
"It's my first day here, did you heard about the first impression?"
"I wouldn't care about it. All it matters is about how the person is inside, the first impression is bullshit."
"So, the fact that I consider you an arrogant and reckless guy, doesn't count as the first impression?"
"Hmm.. You have a point, but so do I and since I love me more, I'd choose my opinion over yours. Case closed."
Rolling my eyes, I grab my water bottle and drink. Obviously, he's staring at me. I have always had a problem when people were staring at me. I remember that once, Carrie Ann was doing the same intense stare as Noah Rogers, studying me, trying to get to know me more.
"What?" I ask after I close the bottle.
"You have so many scars inside your soul, and your heart is also scarred. Tell me, my dear, what happend in your awful and relevant past?"
"I am afraid I don't have enough trust to tell you about my 'awful and relevant past', Rogers."
He looks at me with adoration and says after one minute. "Please, call me Noah." And winks.
