Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
I hate my alarm, ugh.
I sometimes wonder why people are so complicated, like, Noah Rogers. He seems so different than the others and so extraordinary, although his personality sucks. He is such a good kid, even though he tries to adopt the badass attitude, doesn't work that great, Rogers.
"'Morning!" I say as I go downstairs for breakfast. I don't understand children in comercials like, they brush their teeth and then go eat, no you're not doing it right, geez.
"Good morning, Kat." My mum says, smiling. I return the smile and sit at the table. Immediately, I smell waffles. My mum usually made 'omlette' but now, she's making waffles! How amazing!
"OH MY GOD, MUM! YOU'RE THE BEST MUM EVER!" As soon as I finish my statement, sadness overwhelmes me. I remember that Carrie Ann used to say that too, and I also remember that Noah Rogers' mum died. Life...
"Hehe, I try my best." My mum chuckles and drinks her coffee.
"May I?" I ask as I look at the coffee and she nods. I have always liked to taste coffee although I never had the guts to drink a lot of it. It's good when you sip it but it's disgusting when you drink it. My mum always said that you need to 'feel' the coffee. She has a point, if you drink it in one sip, then you won't feel all the flavours and the coffee won't be a coffee anymore, however, if you're a giant, the whole coffee is counted as a single sip so ... -
"What are you thinking about?" My mum breaks my super wise moment and I look at her.
"The difference between a human being and a giant, and your statement about coffee." I say as I drink my orange juice.
"Sure not about Noah Rogers?"
What the fuck, no.
"No, mum. We just met, it's not like I have a huge crush on him?! You know I am not searching for love, just for good grades."
"Hmm..." My mum mumbles something under her breath but I can not figure out what she said. I give up.
As soon as I go to brush my teeth, I get a text message.
Unknown Number: Hey, picking you up in ten minutes!
What the hell.
Me: Who are you, oh my God.
Unknown Number: Noah Rogers.
My heart stops, how the hell did he got my number, but most of all, how am I going to tell mum, who is getting ready for bringing me to school, that the handsome, what no, I mean the idiot, Noah Rogers, is going to pick me up and bring me to school.
"Err, mum, Noah Rogers is coming to pick me up for school." I say, sad sad sad, Kat, what have you become.
Please don't scream, I beg you*2.
My mum smiles and hugs me. What...
"Sure, Kat! Have fun!"
Oh. But you got dressed and... Of course I am not going to complain but please mum, don't let him rape me.
Obviously, no bravey Katty to say that.
Ding ding.
I hear the bell ring. I rush to the door and open. Noah Rogers.
"Good morning, Rogers."
"G'day, Holls." He says with a very american accent, his australian accent disappears like it was never there.
"Shall we?" He says and smiles to my mother. "'Morning, Amanda." He says and makes my mum blush. Why.
"Hello, Noah. Thanks for picking my daughter up." She says smiling, I simply roll my eyes and go in Noah's car.
